Fantastic! Makes the whole Lego set feel complete
Excellent product! Not only does my son love it but so do I. Makes it feel like you could just walk in the front door and live there. Brings Lego to life!

The neatest lego lighting kit to date
This lighting kit allows the hotel to still come apart at each level because it uses contact connections to link the floors. Brilliant and an excellent addition to this lego set.

Easy install and gorgeous when lit.
The media could not be loaded. Very easy install. Whether you use the YouTube tutorial or the booklet instructions, this was a fairly easy to install kit. You just want to make sure your contact points line up cleanly and are secured firmly when attaching levels. This set compliments the Jazz club (different light kit) wonderfully. Very pleased. I recommend using a continuous USB power source. These are 5V MAX, so before plugging in, you’ll need an inexpensive 5V adaptor/converter so you don’t burn them out. I bought a pack of three here on Amazon fairly cheap. Using the battery pack will chew thru batteries you want to keep your set lit. Hope you enjoy the light set as much as I do.

Works Great and looks fantastic.
I have been working in the Hotel industry since 2008 so when the Boutique Hotel Lego set came out I bought it on the first day available. After getting the set put together I saw that kits like this were available online. This kit is very easy to apply to the set and intuitively woven through the set to still allow the floors to come apart without issue. Also as soon as I showed pictures of the lit up set to my manager at my job he bought his own Boutique Hotel set and Light kit. It now has a place of prominence in the back office at our hotel.

The assembly is EXTREMELY challenging and time consuming.
The media could not be loaded. Listen, I love the look of these. Seriously my village looks like it is alive. But then I tell you, the assembly had me questioning my will to live, I mean that. These things are VERY CHALLENGING. Do I think they are worth it? 1000%. I love the look of them, but oh my gosh, I did four sets in one night and I was debating if I was going to ever do them again. You literally have to RIP apart your building. I am talking about taking off 10-50 legos and reassembling them. It is a whole process. There is nothing easy or quick about it. I honestly wonder if it would be easier to add in during building. It took me nearly 2 hours per building. My only gripe, besides assembly, is that you can no longer pull your buildings apart and look inside them. The wires prevent you from doing so.PS. I have since bought 3 more so I am clearly a glutton for punishment.

New contact tabs? Better off with the old wired tech
I purchased the wired kits and connected the Lego Bookshop, Assembly Square, Police station with no problems, they look great……. I recently purchased Boutique Hotel and was sent a kit that has contact point stickers after the first floor. The idea is that once the copper stickers make contact with the Lightailing brick with the metal contact points, the lights turn on.That’s the idea, only problem is that it seems that the Lego floors weigh too little to maintain enough pressure to complete the circuit past the first floor. I have to place a weight on the roof to add enough pressure so the stickers contact the metal prongs.Pics show with kit with weight on roof and without (lights on on all three floors with weight and lights on only on ground floor without). A pack in the kit had three replacement Lego pieces to swap that I guess are supposed to lock the floors down with enough pressure to complete the circuits, but it’s not enough. 🤔💭I guess that’s why you can find an install video for all the other set builds but there is no video for Boutique Hotel. Just a heads up.

Best light set I've used
Reading reviews for this product made me a bit nervous about the new way of wiring this set uses. I didn't need to worry. It is an awesome improvement. There is significantly less wire to hide and the levels can easily be separated while still wired! Setup was easier and faster than some of the other sets I've used too. I haven't had any problems with not having good connections with the contact points between levels and the instructions were easy to follow. I wish I could purchase upgraded light sets for all my other sets now.
