Bob's Red Mills Egg replacer !
I took a chance and purchased the egg replacer , it worked great in my cornbread recipe but it was crumbly , I didn't notice any funny flavors in the taste test . I will try mixing it with a real egg and try to make scrambled eggs in the morning . I bought it to help stretch my eggs to last longer because of the shortage and ridiculously high prices . One table spoon to two table spoons of water should last a long time . Yes I will recommend this product . Update : This is not powered eggs ! Did not taste or have the taste or texture for scrambled eggs . This would be for your baking purposes only .

Has not failed me yet
With the price of eggs so painful this year I went searching for a replacement for my baking hobby. This has never yet failed me. Disclaimer that I haven't used it to replace just yolks or just whites, only whole eggs, but it's been flawless in my baking so far. I probably won't go back to buying eggs just for baking, especially since this bag lasts so long.

Great For All Your Baking Needs
As the US is facing an egg shortage due to bird flu, I was looking for an alternative to raw eggs. I came across Bob's Red Mill Egg Replacers and decided to try it out because it was such a good deal (1 TB mix to 2 TB water = 1 egg). This means 34 eggs per bag x 5 bags = 170 eggs, and it is shelf stable!!! The expiration date was not until November 2026 so close to a two-year shelf life. We used our chamber vacuum sealer to even further extend the life, but each bag has a zipper, resealable top.Easy to mix up, although the finish thickened product doesn't look particularly appetizing (sort of cloudy looking). I added it to the chocolate chip cookie recipe, and it mixed up with no change in taste or results, as you can see by the finished cookie photo. Please note that this mix is made for egg replacer in your baking needs. It was great for the baking I have done. This free up the raw eggs we can find to buy for scrambled eggs and other recipes that this mix would not work for.

This is great stuff!
I must admit I had my doubts about this, but was forced to try it recently when my local grocer became "out of stock" on all fresh eggs!So far, I've used it with packaged waffle and cornbread mixes, and added it to muffins made from scratch. I'm very happy with the results! No taste difference, little if any texture difference, and all items cooked through beautifully. But DO read and follow the instructions! It will not make scrambled eggs - it is not for that purpose. It is intended for baking. When mixed with water it will thicken quickly - don't wait too long before adding to your other ingredients. And I just realized another bonus - no cholesterol!! As I now have to watch my cholesterol count, this makes me very happy.I've just added Bob's Red Mill egg replacer to my next grocery list. I will always keep it on hand.

Doesn't work
It will make any baked goods you make with it fall, I tried it several times with different recipes. Tastes weird. Makes everything very crumbly. I'm not sure what this would even be useful for. It does not replace eggs, that's for sure. Don't waste your money.
