Worth the Money
Great value and just a really nice brush.

Great brush ...
Great brush, creates a hefty lather, and is well balanced. I would recommend this product. The one downfall is that the brush does not have an accompanying stand, which would have been a plus. The hairs have stayed in place since I have purchased it. As a result the product not having a stand, I have to only give the product 4 stars ...

This is a great brush.
the bristles are stiffer than the synthetic versions and they do not tangle up. This is a great brush.

Fell apart and Customer Service ignored me
Very Disappointed This was the second brush I purchased from them so I thought I was getting a good product. Unfortunately the brush separated from the handle after only three uses. It wasn’t properly glued in I believe. So I sent them an email and never heard back. Eventually I tried to glue it together myself and so far it’s working out.

Best to buy the top of the line Boar bristle brush rather that try to save a few bucks
Compared to the previous Edwin Jagger Boar brush I use daily this one is not as smooth. I can feel the pointy end of the bristles unlike the smooth touch of the other brush I bought. I guess all Pure Badger Hairs are not created equally.

A Decent Brush for the Money
This Edwin Jagger brush is well made, but it's much smaller and lighter than I expected. The handle is made of lightweight plastic and the brush lather load is considerably smaller than other brushes. It also loses a few bristles with every shave. All in all, it's not a bad brush. I should have paid closer attention to what I was ordering, but that's on me. This would make a good travel brush. I rate it 4 out of 5.

•• How I Achieved The Best Shave Of My Life •• I have sensitive skin, prone to razor burn and irritation. I had given up on a baby smooth shave until I bought a Parker double-edged safety razor. After considerable research, I decided on some accompanying accessories: shaving soap, brush, blades, and aftershave. I bought my Brush from Edwin Jagger, who are well regarded in the Double Edged Razor community. I'm happy to say, I've not only found the best shave of my life... but now I realize now important those accessories are. •• How Is The Brush? •• Whether you're a bowl or face lather type, this brush is soft and supple. It feels mighty nice on the face. You will lose some loose hairs for the first little while (most likely they'll stick in your shaving soap), but that's perfectly normal. I've used it for a little over a month now, and it looks brand new. All you have to do to clean it is rinse it a couple times, shake it, squeeze it, and set it somewhere to dry. I didn't buy an accompanying stand for it, so I just put it on a dish cloth with some of my dishes. You could probably use the side of your sink, and it'd be fine. I typically use it with an Edwin Jagger Aloe soap, but I've used it with Proraso and Taylor of Old Bond Street. In each case, it creates exactly the lather I need. Even though each of the soaps lathers a little differently, the brush excels at marrying that product to my face. •• Comparisons •• Now, I have no basis of comparison, as this is my first shaving brush. All I know is it does the job without causing irritation, and I couldn't be happier. However, my friend who got me into safety razors, uses a cheap $15 synthetic brush that he swears by. Frankly, whatever works. If this breaks the bank for you, synthetic brushes should be looked into. You could be the one to save the badgers! •• Conclusion •• A great brush resulting in a non-irritating shave. Easy to clean. Doesn't hold bad smells. Smooth and supple. Amazon doesn't like links directly in reviews. If you want to read my huge review on razor research including sections on blades, soaps, aftershaves, and brushes, please check my comments for a link. Happy shaving :)
