Works well and fulfills a specific need, but a bit overpriced
So yeah, it's $7, and it may not really be "worth" that for what it is, but it's pretty well constructed and does what it's made to do very well. And if you figure in that "free" shipping would really cost $2-3, then it's not a bad value. I found that it fits a 16.9oz (500ml) Pepsi bottle almost perfectly, and that's all I've tried so far. For those saying the sprinkler side doesn't work, know that you have to have the cap on the spout so that the water only has one way to go - out the sprinkler side. The sprinkler/shower head works GREAT. Very fine streams of water, it's so gentle that I can water a flat of seeds covered with vermiculite and it just barely disturbs the cover layer. Mind you, you could squeeze the bottle more and easily wash vermiculite away, so for those times when you'd want to give a quick hard shower you could do that. It's a little flimsier/lighter than I'd like, but I think if I don't drop it it'll last me many years. In short, it's far better than the many homemade alternatives I've tried.

Best for Seedlings - Perfect Choice
It is difficult to water seedlings when they first sprout and until they can root themselves into the soil. I ordered this item just for that purpose. You need to provide your own water bottle (soda or regular spray bottle). There are two different choices for watering - sprinkle or spout. Perfect choice for watering any indoor plant. Five Stars!

Works On The Right Bottle
Reading the reviews I knew I had to get a plastic 1 liter soda/pop bottle for proper fit (someone said Smartwater bottles work too, but I don't think anyone is smart for paying that much for water). It's too big for a standard half liter water bottle and too small for a 1 liter Evian bottle (tried both for free just to check)I wound up buying a 1.25 liter Dr Pepper bottle on sale and it fits fine. Of course I rinsed it out very well before use. Used it today for the first time - watering in some seeds I planted and it works great.

I wish I loved it.
I had a lot of hopes for this, but it's honestly a bit useless for me. As someone with (arguably "too many") plants, I wanted something to attach to larger plastic bottles (quart, gallon, etc.) to water more plants at a time without refilling from the sink over and over, but that also softens the soil-disturbing "glug glug" heavy pour that comes from the bottle. Conceptually, this device should be great. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a bottle that it actually threads onto. I've tried all brands of gallon jugs down to 12oz bottles and spray bottles. The fitting is just too loose and the whole cap just falls right off. Bummer.

Perfect for my seedlings
I love the design and thought it was so cute. I wanted to use a small bottle I purchased from the dollar store so I used a small washer and it works perfectly for what I need. The sprinkler is not a heavy flow, perfect for the small seedlings. The spout has a direct flow so I don’t spill water all over the counter. When I am ready to replant my vegetables, this will not take up a lot of space to store. I would recommend to my friends

Good so far
Good quality. Easy to use as a cap, but do not move sideways because water will come out non stopping :S Very useful at the lakeBeach, or drinking water.

Best. Invention. Ever
The media could not be loaded. I use this to water my homemade grass patches that I have been using for potty training my puppy. Previously I was using your every day water glass :( It was a pain because sometimes I would spill it when walking to our patio. Was looking into getting a true watering can and then saw this little thing. The problem with watering cans is that that they're just so cumbersome and big, and finding space for it is awkward because of the shape. This attachment is perfect. It is TINY! Just threw it on a normal water bottle and it worked perfectly.Note that you have to use a bottle that can be squeezed.Initially I was just tipping it for the water to come out, which does not work haha.Note on the video: It DOES NOT LEAK. It looks like it is leaking because I did not screw it on tight enough. When it's on tight enough it does NOT leak.Highly recommend!

Great for watering seeds and seedlings in planters...
Great for watering seeds and seedlings in planters without washing them away.I had to pop the perforated part in (i.e. the middle of the flower) when the item arrived. It hasn't detached with use.

The little sprout that could
Turns a plastic water bottle into a handy two purpose tool. Great for watering in tight places and for adding filtered water in clothes iron too.
