Can this go through an inkjet printer for printing embroidery patterns without sticking or leaving a residue?

sorry I have not tried this, I think you would need to print before removing the backing, and then place on to your fabric, but do not know if it would stitch out or not as it is a backing for machine embroidery , may need to ask manufacturer

I’m using this on a t shirt with a hoop, and once I’ve peeled it off (which was very difficult) it’s left glue reside everywhere? Am I using it right?

The common use for this would be to float your item. Have you peeled this and stuck into your shirt? Recommended method is to hoop this like a regular piece of stabiliser, using a pin score the top surface to reveal the sticky layer and secure your item for embroidery. How easy this is depends on hoop size, garment type and design density. If you want to apply to the back of a T-shirt as full piece of stabiliser you may want to look at their fusible tear away.
