Absolutely beautiful color! But prep is KEY!!
I have a set of late 90s civic Si wheels I wanted to restore and decided to give this product a try, and wow! It came out beautiful and almost exactly the color I wanted. It sprays really nice and even, and it’s a very consistent color the whole time as well as long you shake up your cans. But remember, prep is KEY! The better you prep your wheels, the better results you can get. I have hours in stripping/sanding/wire wheeling my wheels to get them ready for paint. Then used both cans on 4 wheels, let them cure for a few days and then I used Spraymax 2K clear for the clear coat and it’s an awesome finish.I definitely recommend this product, and I’ll probably buy it again in the future if I come across another set of wheels to paint.

Works great!
I refinished the stock wheels on my Nissan Frontier. They were silver to start with. I scuffed them up with some scotch brite and sanded out a few scratches. I hit them with a quick coat of primer, then sprayed them with this paint and clear coat. I did 4 wheels with ONE can of paint! I was amazed. I thought for sure, it would take 2 cans to do 4 wheels, so as fate would have it, I have a can of paint and a can of clear for future use or touch ups. 6 weeks later, the paint is holding up well. Brake dust and road salt wipe right off, and the wheels clean easily. Ive been through the car wash 4 times, and power washed the truck once since the wheels have been painted, and the paint has not come off at all. I wish they had more color options, because this stuff works great!

Great looking paint and easy to use.
I bought this wheel paint because I did not like the color my wheels were, the gold was too brown. I also had 2 flat tires so my prep was a little easier as I did not have to mask off the tires. I started by cleaning the wheels with soap and water to remove all surface dust, then dried and used wax and tar remover. I put a strip of painters tape where the wheel and tire meet to give the paint a nice edge after I was finished.. I then used a scuff pad to scratch up the clear coat on the gold wheels. Cleaned again with wax and tar remover. Then began painting. I used different methods for each wheel and all came out looking good. Medium coats, light coats, didn't really matter. All had good coverage and only the last one needed a touch up, because I got in a hurry. I finished them off with the Duplicolor Matte Clear coat. They look great, almost like a factory finish.

Works well. Its all in the prep
Nice color. Take your time doing prep work. Clean them, scuff them really well, clean again, prime color, clear. And let them cure before driving.
