If you’re running on overwhelm or feeling slightly swamped and adrift, this book is a lifesaver.Elizabeth Borelli has assembled top-notch research about how to care for your whole self in a hurried, stressful world, including the latest on mindfulness, sleep, nutrition, exercise, and as promised in the title, breathing.I’ve read many of the books the author references, but the way she puts it together is incredibly useful. I am already feeling the benefits from committing to the breathwork daily. (The breathwork exercises alone are worth reading the book.)

This book is a very great guide to actually do something positive to change and calm down and actually. If you want to genuinely make a difference in your life and learn how to relax and de-stress, this book is for you.

This Book Helped Me With Brain Clarity
I downloaded this book on my Kindle so that during the day, I could remind myself to breathe into clarity. The tools and techniques in this book are powerful to get unstuck and move forward with peace and emotional neutrality. Elizabeth gives readers easy to practice techniques to incorporate into daily practice. Personally, with all the crazy world events, I needed more techniques to keep my brain in balance. Something so simple yet effective
This book outlines, both in personal and research anecdotes, the significant impact that mindfulness of breath and breath practices can have. As a trauma therapist, one of the keys to regulation is through the breath. The breath seems to be one of the first things to go in a stress reaction or a trauma response, making it hard to think as well as stay connected to your body. Mindfulness of breath allows the bottom up and top down processing to occur at one time. The author has outlined this in a very accessible and engaging way for anyone looking to reduce their stress and manage their reactions!

What I love about this book is the simplicity. Elizabeth has a knack for bringing something as simple as breath into focus and using it as a superpower of sorts to relieve stress in any situation. I appreciate the variety of different breathing exercises providing options for me as a reader. The title of the book is perfect. This is a great book for anyone seeking ways to have a more successful and happy life. It is a good primer on the breath as a tool for stress management, and so much more. It also covers many other techniques that have been proven to help us live better lives. I enjoyed the broad perspective and practical methods. A must read for anyone feeling stuck and motivated to change.

Elizabeth Borelli illustrates a path to real change and growth. I highly recommend this book and her effective consult. She practices a development process that not only shows and illustrates the path, but coaches using it for true behavioral change. Buy this book and share it!

Practical Easy to implement suggestions
Elizabeth Borelli describes a path which has worked in practice. Notably, the framing as a stress reduction breathing exercise made the practice accessible to people who would not otherwise have considered it. The result was beneficial for those who did the practice.
