Awesome for 25mm or less minis, be cautious how you pluck the foam, don't toss foam either read on..
First off this is a fantastic, well priced semi-hard exterior shell miniatures case. Can easily accommodate 25mm miniatures from a wide range, but I would not do heroic scale. Heroic is just too big for the pre-plucked area and they would end up getting compressed in some areas or overlap into another slotted area. Might break off a sharp edge or two especially with Tyranid or Chaos Marines. Basically anything with a protruding fiddly bit. I tried these with my 40k & AOS minis and many are just too big, especially with the newer 32mm bases now. However, with 25mm bases or less have at it. It fits them well and the foam is ridged enough that they stay put quite well. Force on Force, Bolt Action, D&D works with them all so far.I caution those that purchase this case to think wisely on how to pluck the lower portion of the case. It is well padded just like the above spot and holds miniatures just as well, but 100% of the foam is removable, but still fully attached at the bottom so pluck wisely and leave un-plucked foam as a ridge / wall around each larger mini, or you end up with two minis bumping into each other. If you mess up, it is okay though, not all is lost. You could easily use non-toxic "white glue" and glue in a section again (a wall around a mini) and it should not be an issues.Okay, so once you have your foam plucked and are pretty set on how your minis will stay, use the left over plucked foam to make walls (think poorhammer folks), and pyramids and other structures with white glue and some paint. Yep, use cheap acrylic paint available here or from a craft store and prime, then slather it on to make awesome realistic looking foam terrain that won't hurt your minis. I use an airbrush and it works quite well. Use foam core poster boards to create a base for your new piece of terrain to help with structuring. If your really creative, glue the foam core poster board into a sandwich, on top of a row of plucked foam , and then another row a foam on top, with the walls making a bombed building with a second story. Just use a plastic straw or skewer as a pole to hold up the edge that is open, so the foam won't crush when your mini is on the second floor.Plan on getting a few more for each of my Force on Force, and sci fi factions for other games. If this review helped you in anyway, please click on the "helpful" button so that I know I am doing the right thing, and I can continue to write great reviews for items. Bigger than I expected
Case arrived undamaged. Quality of stitching was good, no loose handles or anything, zipper zips smoothly. It just feels like good quality. It is almost 2 feet long! I should have looked at ALL the pictures so I would know that. My bad.I like this case. No weird logos on the outside, just a nice black material, black handles, black zippers. The foam inside appears to be good quality. The upper side holds standard sized miniatures and has a divider that you can use the velcro to keep in place. It's kind of a pain, but I can see how it would keep minis from falling out when you open it. The lower side has tons of foam cubes that are already cut. You take out whichever pieces you need for your odd-sized characters or monsters. I really appreciate how customizable it is. It's almost like foam Legos. The size is my only complaint. I think I would love it in a slightly smaller version, like something that could fit in my backpack but hold half as many minis.I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a case to transport their minis and has a LOT of them. I would also recommend it for someone with large odd-size monsters that take up a bit more space because the lower side is so customizable without having to cut anything.

Overall great for smaller minis; not ideal for 32mm
Overall, I love the size and feel of this case. It's really nice for light transport. I think my husband will be able to put it to good use for his clanrats and stormvermin (smaller AOS models), but I'm not finding it ideal for my 32mm collections.Size-wise, nothing isn't as advertised. I really like the square foam side in particular, and the ability to create-a-size for slightly larger models (I kinda wish both sides were just like this). The main thing I don't like about the case is that there is no padding between the model area and the outer "wall" of the case.

good for 25mm scale minis.
Overall, this is a nice case for my TTRPG minis. I do use 25mm scale minis, and they do mostly fit nice. I have a few 32mm WarHammer minis, and they do not really fit the smaller side. This case as two sides, of pluck foam, one that is 1"/25mm deep, and one that is 2"/50mm deep. The 1" side has compartments that are sized for what D&D5e would call "medium" creatures. For PC minis, and fragile minis like skeletons, one per compartment works fine. For tougher minis, and minions (like zombies, goblins, etc.,) I will put 2 or 3 per compartment. The 2" side is standard "pluck foam" so you can create your own cubby size as needed. Each block is about 1" square. The depth is right for a 5e "Large" creature, but if they have wings or wide poses, they may be hard to fit. Again, for minions and mini's that I have a bunch of, and i am not worried about them breaking, I will pluck a 4x4 or 4x6 cubby and put a handful of them in that compartment. One note - when I was done, I had a pretty large pile of the foam blocks; see the picture.Outer shell is semi-hard side, ballistic nylon. Zipper seems good. Over all, no issues, I like it!
