We purchased this for our grandson's 12th birthday last week. We gave it to him the night before his birthday party. It was the hit of the party, with the kids taking turns playing, and they loved it! I can't speak to what the longevity is down the road, but the game worked perfectly, although it worked better upstairs with 4 bedrooms and the relative darkness than outside.

These are really cool. Easy to charge, easy to use, I bought four packs of four, so we could do team laser tag for a birthday party. Worked great.

We got these last Christmas for my then 10-year-old. He loves these and we have a good time with them. It's more fun when dark of course. The price was good when I bought them. I've not owned another set of these so I don't really have anything to compare it to but so far they do work well for us. They also seem to have quite a long battery life as we have only had to charge them twice since then and have used them many times.

This was awesome fun. Adults and kids. Battery life is excellent, rechargeable, which is the best part. I had other ones that require required AA batteries, and the expense was ridiculous. This was perfect.

Bought for my three brothers (14, 11,10 at the time) from Christmas years ago and they still love to play with this as 16, 13, and 12 year olds! Highly recommend.
