I got a sickness that I don’t want to go into. The doctor told me “no mowing. No cutting. No dust.” I was a little hesitant taking a chance on this filter mask. After wearing this mask outside for about 8 hours I can honestly say the mask is amazing. When you breath in, the white carbon inside-cloth filters the air before it enters your body. In reality the outside mask catches MOST of the dust. It was pretty dirty on the outside after use. When you breathe out, there’s a check valve that opens up. Sure the mask is a little hot but the material makes it relatively comfortable. The secret to this mask is the tight fit. I would rate this 10 times better than a regular white mask. The Velcro at the back of your neck REALLY snugs up this mask. If you’re like me and you need a solid mask for medical reasons this is the way to go.

4-5 stars. I’m a daily commuter in highly active urban area. The mask is easy to don/doff. Does not restrict visibility. It is a HUGE improvement for not fogging up my glasses. Have been using for 4 days only on one filter, 30-40 minute hard riding each way. I think I’ll replace the filter each week. It does start to get a little harder to breath on the long hard uphills that are more oxygen/aerobic intensive. But these are a winner after YEARS of trial and error. This version has a wide Velcro harness at the neck. Really that’s all it needs - the ear loops are handy but not essential. Caveat: the mask rides down my nose and blocks nasal breathing. This knocks one star!! But because of the shape of the mask it’s easy to pick up and move back. Just that I have to do this all the time.

I found that the nose bridge added quite a bit of bulk and made it difficult for the googles to sit well. I have quite a small face, so this could also contribute to this issue. The masks barely fit (over ear is strap is too large) and I must cinch it as small as I can get it. Even then the fit doesn't feel quite right and the nose bridge dug into my nose. It's still a better option than not having a mask. Of the two pack, one of the masks had a broken nose bridge because the rivet was bent (see picture). This mask seems to fit better after the nose guard was removed completely, especially in the nose area. The fit was also more comfortable.

These are very good dust masks especially if you're working around like old warehouses or cutting wood metal acrylic it's very light doesn't hurt your neck and comfortable definitely would recommend

What is the point in ordering fragrance protection that comes drenched in Amazon fragrance? The quality seems good at first glance, but I can’t have these in my house, let alone on my face! Amazon, get your act together! Over 30% of Americans have a fragrance sensitivity. Stop poisoning us with the very things we need to survive. I’ll see if I can order it direct from the company.

I do paint and body work, powdercoating, and have a woodworking hobby and I have Hypersensitivity Pneumosis so my lungs are extremely sensitive to contamination. I've recently discovered that when I have exposure I get sick fur several days. I've been on the lookout for a good dust mask for daily use so I decided to try these. The mask did everything it advertised beyond my expectations. I put the mask on as soon as it was delivered and did some powdercoating, no reaction. I then sanded and prepped a fender, no reaction. It just proved itself there, I was sold. But then while painting that fender I forgot what mask I had on and went straight into painting and clearcoat. A small fender doesn't make too much over spray with the exhaust fan on so I didn't even smell the paint, I was on the second coat of clearcoat when I could start to smell it but still no reaction from my lungs. I destroyed the filter and probably the mask but I was impressed that it suppressed the odor that much. Never ever should you ever in a million zillion years use this mask to paint a car but I would trust it for everything up to that point. My only con is that the straps are too long for my head, I'm going to order the same type from another supplier that is advertised as being smaller but this one would be perfect if put on a few pounds, once I stave my long beard they will definitely not fit. I gave 5 stars because it was truthfully advertised and works great.

I worked at a greenhouse and soil dust is everywhere. I used to have dirt in my nose using a normal mask but after using basecamp mask, i have lesser dirt stuck in my nose. I would say that it filters 97% of the air i breathe in. I would assume that it works better too if it fits my face and nose structure. It fits big on a female head/face but i had made it work for me and i am very happy that i found this mask to help me breathe normally at work. It might feel uncomfortable at first but it is was easy to get used to.
