Delicate Non-Sctratch Cellulose Scrub Sponge, 10 pieces - highly absorbent scourer ideal for everyday cleaning tasks

I have always regarded these Scotch-Brite sponges as the best for washing up glassware, porcelain and other washing jobs where non-scratch is important. Cellulose cant be beaten for absorbency. First class item at a good price.

I usually buy a good supply of this style when visiting France but havent been recently and have run out. I find they are much better than the chunkier ones with 'foam' sponge although I'm sure the green part seems to deteriorate quicker than when I first started using them.

While these Scotch-Brite sponge scourers are sold as 'non scratch', they're still pretty abrasive. This means they scrub burnt on dirt off well but will put hairline, permanent scratches in ultra-delicate materials (visible in plastic and some metal surfaces, including some metal cookware). Don't use them on plastics unless you want to damage them. They also have an unpleasant chemical smell which, thankfully, dissipates after some use. They last a while but they are worse than Spontex non-scratch sponges (which look similar) as the Spontex ones don't scratch any surfaces or have the chemical smell. The downside to the Spontex is they don't last as long and can shed plastic as they wear out. In all, I recommend the Spontex for delicate surfaces and these for everything else. If I had to pick one, I'd get the Spontex.

Difficult to find in Sweden. I like the cellulose sponge compared to the plastic you can find in normal store. they work well. I recommend.
