Works great!
Don't know what all the fuss is about those $150 multi meters when this works just as well. It's no fluke, it's a great value for your money!!

Great Gadget for the Price
I got this for a fledgling DYI electrician, and it falls between my Klein and an a cheap mass market model in my toolbox. This multimeter has a couple of extra options.. Indeed, functions on the right side of the dial aren't likely to be used by a typical electrician, but they're there if needed.I haven't tested all functions and I can't confirm their accuracy, but AC and DC values (V, A, Ω, W, Hz) are well within reason, say, ±2% or less. Thus far it's working nicely and I recommend it.

Good, convenient sized multimeter
This is nice format for a DMM. It used to cost almost double for a meter that had Hz, which I've never actually needed.New to the NCV function, this meter starts beeping at about 6 inches (nearing 120Vac and beeps faster as you get closer. I'm still figuring how to best use this new-fangled function. An easily fixed thing (it's fun for me to troubleshoot) was the first test using ohms. Touching the leads together, the meter displayed what looked to me like a random number generator at about 3 wildly different numbers per second. Finding nothing loose, I got the same kind of results after several attempts looking for a solid zero on the meter. I was about to start the return process when I thought maybe there could be some sort of varnish or other insulating coat on the test leads so I hit them with some steel wool. Fixed! Weird. I've never seen that one before.I have a couple meters and wanted another one for convenience and comparison tests. On my other meters I have trouble telling ohms, from k, m or M ohms. This one also has a tiny letter k m or M, but is a bit more visible on this meter than my other ones. If you choose to buy this one, the diode/continuity "beep" function takes a hit of the mode button to go beep. This meter is lightweight but a little thick and has a decent display size. It actually works pretty well. I haven't checked accuracy but readings ive taken look about right (and don't dance around...now after using some steel wool 👍).Many meters take a bunch of clicks getting around the dial to the ohms function. I like this one having the Volts and ohms near the off selection on the dial.I'm a retired pro turned avid diy/hobby guy. Cheers

Very good for the price
Lacks a 200VAC setting but the 600VAC rounds pretty close. My other meter showing 123.5VAC and this one will show 124 - 125VAC. Other settings seem to be good. Tested a 1.5V AAA and 9V alkaline with another and it was spot on. The capacitor tester is also good. The contactless voltage detection also worked well but of course always check outlets, etc. with probes.5* because it's $10 and don't expect much on build quality. But with the cover it feels nice int he hand. I just wouldn't drop it and find out.

A decent meter with a major glitch
The multimeter appears to work with decent accuracy. However, if the multimeter is left unused in the “ON” position for more than 30 seconds, it goes into a sleep mode but the digital display continues reads 0.0, which leads you to believe the meter is still active. I wasted several minutes, checking connections on my Golf Cart’s wiring system before I figured out the multimeter was in a sleep mode and not reading the voltage. You have to turn the meter to the off opposition and back on to get a reading. This glitch makes the multimeter extremely difficult to work with . I’d like to ask the manufacturer is this its design or is my multimeter defective.

Meets my requirements and budget.
After a search, I chose this multi-meter from 2 options offered by the same manufacturer.True RMS was a requirement. Budget was a factor. Manufacturer not a factor since I have multiples and none the same except the freebie ones I am replacing. The cables are sufficiently long. The kick stand provides a good view of the readout. The carry case is a nice addition. Batteries are included.
