Mannarcraft Cast Iron Appa Chatti with Lid

The product quality is looking good and the metal lid with handle is great addition. Pre-seasoned for immediate use, you just have to clean the existing oil with a tissue 2-3 times to remove some minor iron dust and apply a new coat of oil and start using. Except for the bit high price everything is awesome.

Earlier i gave a negative review as it took longer period to get properly seasoned that it was very difficult to make appams without getting burnt. But now it has been seasoned very well and now we are able to make soft appams without getting burnt.

The chatti as such is well made and serves the purpose. But as it is not pre seasoned, it's a mess cleaning and seasoning it.Many of us don't have such patience or experience or space to do this at home.After seasoning multiple times, the chatti is looking awesome and i made delicious appams in it..so overall, happy with the product!!

The product is good value for money.They could do with improving the finish, as found tiny pin holes in the item after it was replaced(first delivery had rim chipped off at the inner edge, sought replacement).The quality and outcome of food made is in this vessel is way ahead of other cast iron items in market. I loved the results after seasoning the pan, the lid is heavy which is a must to hold steam.

Already caught Rust. Very hard to clean and maintain
