Don't waste your money
I purchased these because my counter-top ice maker stopped working. I like the "good ice" and this seemed like an affordable option. It was way more trouble than it was worth. After washing them for the first time, I filled the trays and put them in the freezer. They froze well, cubes were even, etc. But oh my gosh - trying to get them out of the trays was a true pain. You can't just crack them and hope they fall out. You have to roll the trays every which way and hope they loosen up and fall out. I had to work with them for about 5 minutes to get all of them to disengage from the trays. They include instructions on how to get the ice out - yeah, tried that... didn't work for me. Once I got the ice out of the trays, I thought all was good. Got a little storage box with a lid and a scoop - perfect! I can handle the few minutes it takes to get these cubes out of the tray. Well... I was wrong. When I started to crack the ice the 2nd time, I still had ice in the storage box. The storage box DOES NOT CLOSE. The lid just sits on top of it. You guessed it - I pulled that box out of the freezer, it slipped out of my hand, and ended up on the kitchen floor. If you're going to include a storage container and lid for the cubes, you should at least make sure the lid has a more secure fit. I thought, "well, it's my own fault for not making sure I had a good grip on it" and tried again (which turned out about the same, though I didn't drop the ice all over the floor). I'm returning. Save your money folks - go to your local W store or the T store and buy the hard plastic trays for a buck each.

Great Alternative
If you’re like me and a electric ice maker isn’t in your budget right now, then this is a great alternative. I love crushed ice and these little cubes are the perfect size.

Cute little ice cubes but they smell awful and make your drinks taste awful
Like I said they are cute little ice treys. Perfect little cubes to eat IF they didn't taste like butt. The ice is kind of hard to get out too but once you get the hang of it its okay. I just found on a forum that u can throw silicone in the oven and bake for a few minutes to get the smell gone. I may come back and update once I have done that.

Too hard to get the ice out
Nice ice trays and storage bin, but I agree with everyone...it's so hard to get the ice out and your hands really get too cold while attempting to do so! You really have to roll the trays around every which way and still don't get all the cubes out. And I realize it's coming out of the freezer, but they are REALLY cold! I don't think I have the patience to keep using them.

They serve my purpose
So I purchased these because my Siberian Husky can chew through some ice... and that just in turn burns up one of the filters in my fridge even faster. So my thought was that this would help me not have to replace my filters so often. They work but it is a tad bit of work to get the cubes out of the trays...my husband says I am a winer...lol...I am...but they fit my purpose and keep my pup happy 😊

Am I missing something?
I love the size of these cubes, and the fact they come in a storage container, they fill easily and don’t spill… but why is it so hard to get them out? I’m not exaggerating when I say I spent almost 10 minutes trying to remove them from all of the trays and by the time I got to the last tray the ice cubes that I already got out we’re starting to melt and my hands were frozen. This would be a 5 star if they were made out of plastic and you could just crack the tray and they would fall out.

Left a residues.
The use was actually pretty easy when you get the hang. Submerge to fill. Do a few twisting for them to come out! No matter how many times I washed them they left this oily white resedue on the ice. Drove me nuts so I'm gona pause on using them. The ice container is great!

It’s alright
It is a great idea and I love the little ice cubes. To take the ice cubes out of the silicone is harder then I thought it would be. By the time you are done with the first tray the other trays are already melting. I would look more into another one that maybe not be as hard to remove the ice cubes.
