Tekken Tag Tournament - PlayStation 2

Was about to leave a 1 star review and say how I got scammed by a bootleg version that gave a disc formatting error; however, after asking Google it turns out some PlayStation 2 models have trouble running these blue discs since they are lighter than the silver backed discs. In order to get this disc working I used 4 small pieces of electrical tape close to the middle of the disc to add a little weight and that has worked so far! Other people have used masking tape so it may vary, glad I got this to work with some help. Manual and game case are in very good condition too.

IMO this was the BEST Tekken game ever made. No weird walls, No impossible boss fights either, (SERIOUSLY I played a recent Tekken release that had me fighting a huge robot with an almost limitless life bar)ANYWAY! This game is fantastic, huge roster of fighters, cool music, difficulty ranges from cake walk to controller throwing - rage inducing - I finally got it glory. Forget about the story, I still don't really know the entire background of what is going on. Apparently Jin is the kid of Kazuya (Thrown into a volcano by his own Dad)and Jun (Whom he raped and is now dead). See, totally confusing.Bottom line look if you want a excellent brawler for PS2/PS3 (20/60 GB version) Get This Game.Paul is the BEST IMO, followed by Xaioyu

I'll say it again, I love me some Tekken. I found this version to be pretty interesting. I loved the idea of being able to play with 2 characters & try to achieve the same goal of winning the fight. I also loved how you could put sworn enemies together into a team & destroy your opponents. I especially enjoyed paring those who were part of the storylines, or those who fought the same or looked alike. Roger Jr,/Alex, Jack/Gun Jack, Julia/Michelle...I also loved the music, especially the ending stage with Jun as Unknown, but my top favorite is the 1 for either Yoshimitsu or that snow level (I think it's Yoshi's theme anyway), second best to Tekken 4's Honmaru but still good enough for me repeat a few times when I'm in the mood for game music.The character models were quite blocky at the time, but it didn't take away from the fun that the game had to offer. I also enjoyed the different environments, though again they were quite blocky but didn't take away from beauty.

Bought this game because it was a great way to pass time when I was 17-18 years old. So I was very excited to buy this for the price that was listed. However when the order finally go to me, (very fast delivery by the way) I knew something was wrong. 1st the pacake itself, although in good shape it looks like the cover art was printed off a computer and put into the case. 2nd and the biggest problem, THE GAME DOES NOT WORK! Compared to the other ps2 games that I own this one is 1005 different. The CD its on has a blueish/purple color to it and neither of my two ps2 will read it. I've looked at all my other ps2 games and they all have a silvery/shiny finish to them. This leads me to believe that I have a burned/bootleg copy of the game. I will not refer this seller to anyone for they are dishonest and pawn off an illegal copy to the masses. I am very upset at this situation because this is a great game with a cool bowling mini-game, but was given the old bait and switch tactic. Do not buy from said seller as u will be pimped out of your hard earned money.

This game is just as good as I remembered it when I first played it back in 2001. This game really excited me because of the characters, stages, clothes, storylines, & other things within the game that makes Tekken an extremely realistic 3d fighting video game. I feel in love with the series back in 1998 when I first played Tekken 3 which was the first Tekken game I've ever played. I never knew that a game like this would empress me. From that point on I've been buying more up to dat Tekken games to continue my love for the Tekken series. Tekken Tag Tournament is a fan favorite & would make anyone happy for the gamers who are so hooked up on fighting games that are or similar to Tekken. I'm proud to be a Tekken lover just like other fellow fighting games that are: Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Virtua Fighter, & Dead Or Alive. I will always be a member & fan of the Tekken franchise until the series is over. Tekken for life. "Get Ready For The Next Battle." The age of 7 through 8 was the first time I have ever played a Tekken game back in the 90s.

Brand new game inside on this order... There's no instructions wich doesn't matter to me personally but I will say something Because they ripped me off in that way...but really in all reality it came in a small envelope so it could have easily been smashed in shipping but the game IS brand new... there's not a spot on it...looks as clean as when you open a brand new game. I won't be back myself just because I don't do business with anyone that will leave out little things...they could have easily said it has no instruction booklet but didn't feel the need to mention that...if someone had never played this game before and thought they were getting what they paid for they would have been upset but the game is new!

Black label as described, plays perfectly with zero complaints!

Liked that it took me back in time to playing the original Tekken back in the early 90’s. That’s over 20 years “Back In Time”I liked that I still had the button pushing skills and knew how to perform some awesome combos with at least 8-10 original characters.Least😭 Where’s my Drunken Master? My favorite character whom I model my real fighting style after is gone. I knew I would get old and stiff and one day would never be able to use 90% of the Katras. So I put all my efforts into mastering one I felt like I could use forever. Drunken Master Fighting Style, Wutang!!!
