Works perfectly with Dyson DC40
I was a little hesitant to buy this set but after reading reviews that stated it does work with the Dyson DC40 I decided to get them and I'm glad I did. The quality seems to be very good, especially at this low a price. I took each attachment immediately and they hooked right up to my Dyson DC40 like they were made for it. I don't know why the description on Amazon does not list them. My Dyson does not have any holder on the machine for attachments so I don't know if that could be an issue, but these definitely will work with a DC40. Glad I purchased them.

Inexpensive off brand item that fits the Dyson very well
Are the attachments of the same quality as the Dyson OEM attachments, not really. Are they far less expensive and of reasonable quality, yes they are.

Just what I needed
I had moved recently and lost the accessories to my Dyson vacuum. I was very happy to be told about these replacement parts. They worked great and return the versatility of my old vacuum to me. The price was great as well. If you’re missing accessories to an older Dyson, check to see if this will work with your model. They work great.

Acceptable quality, outstanding price
Let's face it, Dyson products aren't cheap. You might pay more than this price for just one attachment, if you order a genuine Dyson manufactured part. These aren't those.Here, you are getting four great attachments at an outstanding price. The manufacture quality is acceptable. The parts fit and snap into the vacuum with a satisfying click, just like genuine parts. The plastic seems very sturdy, I'd hazard a guess that it's unreinforced nylon plastic, the same stuff used to make kitchen utensils. The color is nearly the same, but not identical to Dyson parts. Also, you might find a molding seam or two, but nothing that's going to cause it to fail.This kit comes with four great attachments. I tested all four attachments fit correctly and work fine. The wide dust brush is particularly useful for furniture, curtains, or even vacuuming a tile floor. The three brushes give you plenty of options for brush vacuuming.The bottom line, if you are made of money, order genuine part and pay maybe $200. Otherwise, this kit is going to do the job, and you'll have plenty of money left over to spend on things that make your house dirty.
