The Elements Book: A Visual Encyclopedia of the Periodic Table (DK Our World in Pictures)

It is a DK book. They make an easy to read, colorful, informative book for inquiring minds. I never been disappointed with the quality of their books. They make great presents for scientific minded or inquisitive kids/grandkids.

I bought this for my 13 yr old grandson who is learning about the elements. The pictures are fantastic, and the descriptions are very engaging.

The media could not be loaded. Incredible pictures with some fun facts about the element and what everyday things are made from it. Explains the Periodic table of elements, Alkali Metals, Alkaline earth metals, Transition metals, Lanthanides, Antinides, Boron group, Carbon group, Nitrogen group, Oxygen and Halogen group and Nobel gases.A great book for kids who just love fun facts about elements to having kids refer to this for help during Chemistry class

This book is cool! It was a gift for my 9 year old daughter. She wanted to learn about the elements and loves science. It’s a good quality book, bright pictures, and well made. It looks like a very expensive book but not expensive!!

I would recommend this book to everyone. Gorgeous photos and brief explanations of the history and use of each element. My goal is to learn 5 per week...by March I'll know them all.

We used this book as a supplement for our homeschool science lessons, activities, explorations and experiments. Again, we love the DK books and have several in our library.

My kiddo loves this book. He found an even better one at the library though, so I'm not giving this one 5 stars.

My 4 year old loves this book and finds it very easy to understand!
