The belt loop should have a clip as they all have torn. also the snap is terrible not magnetized.. Wish the case was better.. I have bought four pair asses are fine the case is fine except Alaska had tears within one week so all four by pair I cannot put on my pants or my belt and there is another company has the same exact glasses but an actual clip instead of a belt loop the lasts much longer

The glasses seem well made and sturdy, optical quality is good. The nose pieces are a bit sharp for long term wear but for quick menu reading they fit the bill well. My only negative is the size of them in the case. The case has a belt loop on it and for good reason. The glasses in the case are a full inch or more thick and just a bit too bulky to tuck in a front pants pocket. If you have seen the drug store foster grants that fit in a flip top carrier these are roughly twice as thick in the case as the arms fold and do not telescope like the foster grants.

A friend of mine calls these my “Transformer cheaters” (“cheaters” meaning “reading glasses”) because of how they unfold from their tiny case into full reading glasses. I’ve owned several sets of these, for two reasons: First, my eyes keep getting worse, so I upgrade to stronger lenses. But second, because they have a tendency to rip off of my belt when I sit down in certain cars. Not *my* car, fortunately, but some cars have plastic bits on the seat that tend to rip the strap off of the case. So I wish the attachment of the strap to the case was sturdier, to resist such insults. Also, on at least one pair, the metal nubs on the end of the glasses became loose and tried to fall off. Still, for the price, they’re pretty good, and I love being able to keep reading glasses on my belt, always handy and ready for use, and easy to get out and put away. However, after using these for several months, I am knocking off a star. There are three problems with them. One, the metal nubs on the ends of the arms tend to fall off. Not a big deal, but an indication of quality. Two, the construction of the case which results in the belt loop easily ripping off, as I've mentioned. Three, the case does not have a clip, merely a loop, meaning you have to take your belt off to get them on or off, which I have found to be a major inconvenience. I have found a solution to this: Order "DK. BRONZE COMPACT FOLDING Reading Glasses” from eBay, throw away the inferior glasses, and use the clip-on belt case. However I can no longer find these on eBay, so good luck!
