The watch Seiko should have made...
Great watch in most every way, sad Seiko didn’t make a watch with these specifications instead of the hyper rare SLA017. The fit and finish, the nuclear luminous properties, the highly detailed caseback, the double domed sapphire xtal, the handwindind & hackable workhorse NH35 movement, the beautiful pewter gray sunray dial... all reasons to buy this watch!

62mas homage

Different branding and unusable bezel (Do not buy)
So let me go on record to say that my original review of this watch gave it a 3 star. At the time I'd only given the watch a 3 star because I had no other low end automatic watches to compare it to. I'm now returning to amend that review and properly explain my dissatisfaction. This is a 1 star product for 2 reasons: 1.) Misadvertised appearance 2.) Faulty bezel Regarding No.1: When I bought this watch originally, the marketing material showed "LTM" on the face of the watch looking rather sleek and subtle. Contrary to the marketing material, most pictures in the reviews showed a tacky "SAN MARTIN" instead. I cleared this up by posting a question about which branding would show up and the sellers themselves assured me that it would be "LTM." Not even close, when I got it in the post, I got this crappy and tacky printed SAN MARTIN that screamed cheap. Regarding No.2: When I received this watch in the mail, I found that the rotating bezel was faulty. This was truly disappointing considering that on of the coolest parts of a diver watch is the bezel and its functionality. Instead I was given a bezel that wouldn't turn unless I put substantial grip and force into it. On top of that, the lumin on the indices were really great, but the lumin dot on the bezel had almost no glow to it. Since receiving it, I've tried taking the bezel off (using the tools that I now have for my seikos) and nothing would pry the thing off. Shame. I originally bought this because I loved the 62mas and I was a broke college student. The watch itself works fine but that's purely due the the NH36 inside. Other than that, this watch is tacky and unimpressive. You'll find that the included watch straps are cheap plastic that wouldn't last. Even the machining looked cheap. In conclusion: this is somehow overpriced for what you get. I don't care how much you want a 62mas replica, this is not it. I implore you not to purchase this even if it looks enticing. I would have returned it if I had a good frame of reference when I originally received it. Having multiple seikos at varying price range, I can tell you that this watch had a terrible buying experience.

The True Replacement for the Seiko SKX.
A feature packed watch for a great price. Excellent build quality with premium parts like sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel, and the NH35 (4R35) movement is the same one used in the $300-400 Seiko Divers. Even the rubber strap is thick and supple. This is the watch Seiko should have built to replace the SKX and not the sad Seiko “5” models they are pushing as “replacements”.
