Great quality materials. All solid wood with some metal, great finish, and is heavy. All three drawers are functional, some with partitions. Also has a power outlet and USB slots (has to be connected to a source of course).

I'll admit...this desk wasn't my first choice. I'd been looking to replace a very inexpensive, very worn out desk that was somewhere around 17 years old. I found this desk after I ordered from Costco - but they completely flubbed up my order, wasted two of my Saturdays waiting for delivery and left me working on a borrowed folding table for 3 weeks until I was able to get this one ordered and delivered.But, things work out as they should. While this desk was a little bit more $$ than the one I had ordered previously, it's very well made, was easy to assemble and looks great!Not only that, but it was delivered a day earlier than originally promised. They even showed up 30 minutes before the delivery window. Which, I guess, could be bad if I wasn't home. But it worked out well for me and gave me the full weekend to put the desk and my home office back together. It arrived in perfect shape and the delivery drivers were fantastic.The only thing I would mention is that, as some reviewers have mentioned, the top has a bit of texture. So if you're going to be hand writing letters to your pen pals, you'll probably want to put a notepad underneath. But who handwrites anything anymore anyway?For the price, the quality and the impeccable delivery I absolutely recommend this desk.

I saw this same desk in a local furniture shop, but they only had the floor model, and that was already sold. So I checked on Amazon, and, sure enough, found the same item! The furniture store needed 4-6 weeks to obtain another desk, and we couldn't wait that long. Ordered online here and had it in two weeks, delivered in perfect condition by a couple of huge and friendly guys.This is real furniture, not the typical junk that gets delivered in 135 little pieces that never fit together quite right. We only had to attach the completely pre-assembled top to the legs.The surface of the deck is, apparently, solid wood with a high-quality wood veneer sealed with urethan. Just right for a home-office. I like the open design in my small space, as it makes the space feel less cramped than our old boxy desk.The only cons for me are the drawers are just a little too shallow, including the keyboard tray. I have an Evoluent upright mouse that cannot be in the tray when it closes. Slightly deeper drawers would have been ideal.Overall, and, especially considering what a great step up this is over the usual assemble-yourself trash I've put up with for years, this is outstanding and very highly recommended!

Now that I've got your attention this product is definitely easier to assemble than most - just 4 easy parts to put together, same sized bolts for all holes but likely easier for two people to put together. Make sure you put the legs on the right ends (we had to disassemble and switch them). Also, one of the drawers got really stuck. I recommend BEFORE you flip the top over that you remove the drawers as when we turned it upside down one of the drawer dividers got stuck and made it very difficult to get the drawer out. I had to reach my hand in the back side of drawer to push the divider down. Luckily my hand fit.When we went to put the drawers back in they were not flush. Turns out that one of the side drawers must have been a little small than the other so when we switched them everything was fine.Lessons learned from my experience that I hope helps you. The desk is gorgeous, sturdy and looks amazing in my work space. Great purchase!

We purchased the writing desk as well as the executive desk for my husband as he was going to be working from home for the foreseeable future due to Covid. We received the writing desk and the executive desk is on the way. This is a beautiful desk. Unfortunately, two of the corners were badly damaged (see pics). The box wasn’t damaged just the desk. We are deeply disappointed as we thought we were purchasing something of solid quality.

The first thing I should point out is that this is a very sturdy and solid desk. It doesn't wobble when I lean my weight into it. It's a "do it yourself" assembly, which was very easy and straightforward. Despite being careful, the top of the desk was easily dented; I suspect that this part of the desk might be built from HDF or particle board. At first, I didn't fit under the center drawer: my thighs would scrape the drawer every time I scooted in. Turns out the center drawer is easily removed with a screw driver and the result looks good and functions great.

Excellent quality ! Very heavy and great value for the price ! I did have problems with first install . When we turned it over the small dividers in drawers came loose and drawer wouldn’t open so we had fo return for replacement ! Next one we removed small wooden dividers in drawer before installing legs ! No problems what so ever ! The desk is beautiful !!!

5 stars for this desk. Great engineering in the packaging to protect the desk from the not so gentle handling by the shipping/delivery companies. The fit and finish is excellent and it assembled easily. It is great product. Looks great and ordered the rest of the office suite (2 bookcases and file cabinet)Shipping review: 3 stars. The expected delivery was between 12-3 pm, but the delivery company called at 9am saying they were in the area. The time was fine with us. The delivery team was OK. We requested that they stay until we opened the package to verify the integrity of the contents, as the big note on the side recommends (before we sign the receipt manifest) and the young man accepted it but he wanted us to hurry and sign. Not great customer service but sufficient.
