Had a valve go bad (2nd one this year!) and purchased replacement. Good fit and easy enough to install. A bit more expensive than purchasing locally, but sometimes you have to put up with that.

good replacement Rainbird Solenoids
I am a professional irrigation contractor and these solenoids are half the price of our local suppliers. It is typically less expensive for me to purchase a whole valve and just used the solenoid off of it. so this has saved me a little bit of money to keep some on hand for repairs. Also Rainbird solenoids are loud so they are good for testing any 24 v circuit.
