Women's Denim Shorts Stretch Mid Rise Jeans Bermuda Shorts

I am an almost middle-aged Midwestern housewife: nobody wants to be blinded by my lily-white thighs or marvel at my cellulite, not even me. Normally, I'll go for old navy Bermuda shorts with a 7-9" inseam, to spare everyone the trauma, but old navy has swung back around to 80s fashions and insist that shorts should be worn by size 2-4 people who have tans, a thigh gap the size of the grand canyon, and (if the way the button straight up to your sternum are any indication) don't sit down. And also hopefully pose artfully in their low-cut crop tops with sweat-proof makeup, while the normal people wind up looking like an albino version of Jabba the Hutt trying to breathe on a park bench.Bearing in mind that other reviews claimed they ran small, and that I haven't sweated off my winter weight yet, I bought a size up from my normal. The waist sits comfortably below my belly button without exposing my underwear, the silhouette is flattering, and the hem stops right above my knees. I was initially a bit disappointed (they were longer then I expected), but I'm actually really comfortable with this and I'll definitely be ordering another pair (or two or three).

Washed them in hot water and overdryed them on the highest dryer setting and still a little to big. They are extremely comfortable so I will be keeping them but will not be ordering any more of them.

I read to order a size larger. So i did. It was too big. I normally wear a 10. I ordered a 12. Was way too big.

I was worried about these fitting me.I've gained weight and have a hard time figuring out my size now. I'm 5'8" weighting 140lbs so I'm some where between a 10 or 11These are size 10 and they fit very nice. I've purchased some Jean pants and they were size 11 all of them fit also. I'm thinking these shorts are true to size. Hope this may help.**Smiles**
