Duralex Made In France Picardie Tumbler Set of 6,16.87 oz

This item is great, time-tested durable glassware from France. I've bought this before and love, love, love it. HOWEVER, the packaging for this latest shipment was absolutely disgraceful. My impression is that Amazon somehow combined and repackaged items into a new bundle of 6 glasses, using a minimum of packaging. My box arrived with the glasses audibly rattling inside as I moved it. The box was a "made to fit" Amazon box using a single layer of cardboard. It was actually too large for the glassware inside as they rattled and moved about in the box. When I opened the box, I removed a package of glasses covered in a loose single layer of bubble wrap. Inside was a Duralex package of 4 glasses and two additional glasses wrapped in bubble wrap (single layer). Honestly, it's a miracle these glasses weren't broken and survived the shipping trip to my home intact.

Where have these been all my life? They are elegant and/or casual at the same time. Almost as sturdy as plastic. The shape is perfect for sipping drinks with ice. 10/10 would buy again. Think of the material almost like Pyrex.

Nice durable glasses. These are the second set I ordered. Unfortunately the first set did not arrive in good shape. This time they arrived unbroken. I think the first set I ordered was from a different seller and not packaged well. I am happen with these glasses. The quality is far better than most I have seen in the local stores.

Love these glasses. I'm picky about my water glasses, and these hit the mark. The shape and quality are excellent. Surprisingly, they’re not hot to the touch even when I use them for coffee to go in my car.

I like the design of the glasses, and I like how they feel in the hand. I was going to buy the coffee mugs, they looked good to, but not anymore. About 30 minutes ago, I picked up a glass that was until then unused, and it exploded in my hand when I touched it. I have never had this happen before. I looked it up and found that the 'exploding glasses' phenomenon is not uncommon. I was cut on both hands, my face, and it scared hell out of the cat. (He is still hiding) If the manufacturer could tell me how common this is, I could make an informed decision as to whether or not I should keep the rest, or toss them. I like the glasses, but now don't trust using them. The glasses came in a set of six as I recall. Being a bachelor, I used, washed, and re-used the same two glasses for about a month. The others were untouched after washing. All of the glasses went through the dishwasher when they arrived, but only two were 'in circulation'. I hope this helps whoever might respond.

Solid. Stylish. Very drinkable!

Very nice glasses and most importantly they don't have lead which is why I bought them and made in France. I highly recommend them.
