No gimmicks
This is what I hoped for, works well enough and especially for the price. The camera angle is a bit low for back but it's also great for connecting a trailer, I can see the ball and line it up. Good marriage saver!!

The camera does not work.
The camera does not work. It waste my time, my money, and the mechanic fee. After installing the camera and the wires we find out that the camera has very bad quality and the image is so blurry that it is not visible.

Good handle but hook up not so good
It is a good handle and camera but be careful about the hook up. It does not work with my truck and had to send it back.

It works……. Could be better
First let me say that it works and the picture is just ok. And the handle is the generic replacement it seems all of these are using. So that’s why it got three stars.But after that is out of the way, the things that aren’t great.Camera is angled to steep twords the ground and definitely doesn’t have the wide view advertised. The guidelines are useless because the camera is facing to far down and doesn’t have a wide enough field of view.Picture definitely isent HD, there is artifacting and a general poor layout. The parking grid is always on because they may put separate wires for it but guess what!!! All of your positives and negatives are spliced together in the connector. So that red trigger wire is also wired into the red power wire, and you negative black wire in the rca cable is wired to the negative power wire….. the 4 pin connector they give you only uses 3 of the pins. And three of the wires.So if you are splicing the wiring into a pre existing harness the color coding after the connector goes like thisYou have the black and red power wires that should be connected to your + and - 12vDC.And then cut the RCA cable open and there will be three wires. Disregard the black and red wires and connect the yellow wire to your Video +/CV+.Hope that helps someone from having to waste time figuring it out like I did.

Not great
The latch mechanism is pretty flimsy. The screen flashes when it’s bright outside and the camera is on. It points down too far in my opinion, can’t really see much. It’s better than nothing I guess, but I would not recommend it.
