Cute but some color changing
We purchased this to replace a stainless steel version that had a plastic handle. My husband had left it on the stove too long and the handle melted off. We bought this in red as a replacement. On the second time we used it the color on the bottom of the Body near where you put it on the burner started turning orange. Does not seem to have altered the taste of the coffee or the way the product is functioning, just disappointed with the look. I really wanted a nice all red looking coffee maker to keep on the stove when not in use.

Took awhile to figure out but then—great cappuccino!
I have been using a French press but love a cappuccino so bought this, and after three or four tries, this morning i got it right—aaaah! Although this pot says it can make three cups, i found that the size of the coffee basket limited me to only one cup (which is what i wanted, so no problem). So ultimately i put 1/3 cup water into the pot, filled the basket loosely with espresso ground coffee, put the pot on the edge of the burner set to medium while i set 1/2 cup whole milk (foams better than 2%) on to boil. Some minutes later i used an emersion blender to foam the boiling milk, and then, piece de resistance, poured the hot espresso into a cup followed by the foaming milk, and—-aaaaah

Best Espresso maker every purchased
I received information from this business, with instructions (which were easy to follow) on how to "prime" the pot and how to generally clean! This the BEST Espresso maker I have ever purchased/used, it makes a clean smooth tasting espresso. Beyond worth the asking price!!

Master the technique, and you’ll be thrilled!
Works great! There is definitely a learning curve…make sure to check out some online tutorials. My first couple of pots, the brew sputtered a lot. Coffee was tasty, but way too little was extracted, and it was just not right. My remedy was tightening the bottom, and no preheating the water. Lower the flame a bit and a coarser grind; just a notch on the grinder made the difference!! Better than any coffee I buy when I’m out!!

Love this!
I love my little moki pot! Makes a perfect serving and works so well. I have to remind myself not to go off and do something “right quick” as it only takes about 4 minutes for it to finish a brew. I could see this being perfect to take camping as it cleans up easy with just water. Do not use soap!

product is good
Product is good, but shipping not. They leave the package on side-drive wall not front steps or porch and I couldn't find it at first

Great coffee pot but arrived with a fault
My mum and brother enjoyed using pots like this and I decided to finally get one. Simple to use, good value, does the job. However only after some headaches and tinkering! Mine arrived with the pressure valve misthreaded so it wasn't fully tightened. Ad a result the pot didn't work, try as I might it wasn't building enough pressure to bring the coffee through into the chamber. It took a while to realise this must be the issue and I almost returned it. I posted a question asking for suggestions what the issue may be and would like to publicly thank John Steven English for his condescending and unhelpful answer suggesting I was basically just an idiot who couldn't work a simple coffee pot - there's no need for that. Next time a question is asked, John Steven English, if a smug insult is all you have to offer please don't bother answering! Anyway, I then got the tools out and forced the valve off and retreaded it properly, and it now works as it should.

Not as good as my cheapo Aldi moka pot!
The product seemed well-made to look at; however, it felt much lighter than my current 6-cup Aldi ‘Kirkton House’ pot, despite having a higher capacity. On filling up and screwing together, the connection grated as if it was metal-on-metal rather than a softer closure that would indicate the rubber gasket inside was being compressed - so maybe the manufacturer hasn’t used the right thickness gasket, or it is just poorly made.In use, it took several minutes to get steam up and the liquid didn’t flow up smoothly as it does with the Aldi model - it came up in spurts and didn’t even seem to boil all the liquid, even after being on a medium heat for 5-6 minutes at boiling point.Even after so much time the upper pouring section was only half full and provided enough liquid to make 2-3 cups of coffee, nowhere near 8 cups!Sadly, very poor performance by this product, which I am returning. Will have to wait for another Aldi Specialbuy to come up!

Good coffee maker
It is a good Mokka pot. It's made of aluminium so if you wash it in your dishwasher it will discolour. This does not matter but looks odd. So hand wash it as they advise. Personally think the quoted size is one cup too great but the question is "2oz cup" - filled to where - espresso is often delivered in a French or Italian cafe no more than half full. A measure quoted to the max fill line (the safety valve) would allow better direct comparison with competitors. And metric units would be nice too. Most of the world except USA use metric. Still a good Mokka put though and it pours well.

Good product for the money
Good product and well made for the money. The coffee is good I purchased it for use in a caravan. I have tried it using the same beans as I use in my professional coffee machine. Be warned though when it has finished percolating don't lift it off the heat source and place it on a work top. I placed mine on a wooden chopping board and it imprinted the shape of its base with a nice burn mark. retains the heat well. Would buy again.
