I put these on the floor to catch water overflow. Bigger size and good depth to accommodate smaller birds and larger ones like Pigeons and Jays. In the summer I sometimes see a dozen birds trying to bath at a time. So fun to watch them splash and dunk themselves.I used to use a thin plastic serving tray but last summer it got cracked from the heat/cold and really was just not large enough. This pan is a much thicker plastic and should withstand the temp changes.
