Great product! Love it!
I love this product! I've had my sauce master for about 6 years now, I recommend it to everyone I know who cans tomato juice, which is what I originally bought this for. Over the years I have used it to make applesauce, tomato juice, pear sauce and it's been wonderful for making juice for jelly: blackberry, grape, plum, peach and pear. It does take some time to assemble and get bowls ready for juice and scraps but it is so worth it! It's nothing compared to having to blanch, peel and use a food mill! My only complaint is that I can't find accessories/replacement parts except on the Norpro website. Would buy again!!!

This product does not work as intended. It needs to be much sturdier.
I ordered this item as a replacement for my Squeezo strainer which I have had since 1992. It finally reached its EOL and I came across the Norpro product as a replacement. When I finally tried to use it for seeding blackberries, the handle was not very easy to turn and once there were berries inside the sieve, the entire strainer attachment came loose and made a mess. The blackberries were not frozen and they were soft which would make it easier to sieve the berries through the strainer. Moreover, I have been seeding blackberries for years now and am familiar with some of the limitations of strainers. However, this unit simply does not work!I tried several times resetting the strainer attachment and tightening down the set screw but the unit's design is flawed. The two tabs which are supposed to secure the strainer attachment to the unit base come off when any amount of pressure is applied when turning the push the berries through the strainer attachment. Very disappointing. I am going to contact the mfr. about this as well. the product should be removed from the market or improved so that it functions as designed.

Sauce Master II Soooo easy even i can turn garden tomatoes into luscious sauce
First off, i am a male who stays out of my wife's kitchen. We have several acres of tomatoes and assorted vegs. The old ashioned way was to steam the tomatoes to get the skin off, next cut and deseed, cook until soft enough to blend into liquid to make sauce or juice and then can the results. TODAY i received our SAUCE MASTER II and within an hour( including set up) we had 6 qts of the best tasting sauce ready to can. The simple machine did it all with NO effort. The seperated skins and seeds flowed effortlessly out the chute into a bowl to go into our compost bin. YEAAAAA !!!!

An okay product but nothing to shout about.
Generally I found the quality to be what I expect from "made in China." It functions pretty well but I am currently looking for something a little more "industrial." If you only do very light canning it will suffice. If, like me, you put up an entire winters worth of tomato sauce then look for something a little more sturdy. I don't expect this one to make it through the next harvest.

Works great!
Great product for the price. Speeds up my applesauce processing. Had the original Squeezo Strainer 30 years ago when I was doing heavy duty food processing. It was a larger and heavier product of all metal and costs three times more than Sauce Master. Sauce Master works very well and cleans up easily. Great product so far having used it 5-6 times since I have gotten it.

Flimsy parts, clogs easily, not-returnable.
I don’t think I have ever hated a kitchen gadget more. I attempted to process my tomatoes and it was a complete mess. It sprayed tomato up, out, and all over because it clogs up so easily. The plastic driver does not do a good job of moving the skins out so it just makes a huge mess and the very think plastic cover for the skins and seeds came cracked. It was nearly impossable to take apart and clean so that I could finish what I had to process. I seriously wanted it to work so bad that I tried 3 times to process my tomatoes. It was a horrible experience and left me frustrated with tomato everywhere.

Functional, once pieces together. .
It did a good job, once connected. Easy to disassemble and clean. This takes a lot of strength to get all pieces locked in & connected for use. Had to have husband assemble it, and even then, it was challenging for him. I could not use this if I had to assemble it by myself.

Love it!
Used it to make applesauce so far. Can’t wait until next canning season to use for tomatoes! Make sure you get the metal spout part all the way on to not make a mess and make sure you crank the proper direction..Lol..ask me how my son and I found out. Love having this and got the berry and salsa screen for Christmas.
