I don't wear during the day since my issue seems to happen while I am sleeping only. The Velcro could be a little stronger at the wrist but if I apply and make sure to press firmly it seems to hold just fine. The ability to loosen the parts and fit to my hand size is much appreciated and the ability to bend the metal insert is also very nice since I don't like or need my finger fully straight. I am a physical therapist and would recommend this product.

I broke my right pinky in a fall and it was a spiral fracture which can take a while to heal. The ER gave me their standard cheap aluminum splint and buddy taped my pinky to the finger ext to it. By the end of the first day I knew I had to find a better way! I found this one and the price was right so I ordered it. Right off it was much more comfortable (once I figured out the best way to use it). My only complaints are that the plastic velcro parts hurt if they rub on skin (and they do) and it really needs a strap that goes across the palm. It didn't come with one so I made one of my own. Also the removable strap that's supposed to go around the base of the finger was too bulky and the plastic velcro part hurt so I made a more comfortable one. I've been wearing it for almost 6 weeks and it's held fairly well even with frequent washing. It's hot this time of year where I live and neoprene gets pretty gross between sweat and all the dirt that gets on a person's hand in a day. I wrap the wrist part in a strip of Terry cloth if I'll be outdoors, if I don't the neoprene on the wrist strap gets slime and quite itchy. This is why I don't really care much for neoprene but the trade off is it has held up to the abuse I put it through pretty well. I did have to stitch on better velcro in some places, especially on the wrist strap. All in all it was a good value but can use a little redesigning.

I wish this had worked, but it’s clunky and uncomfortable.It was easy to put on. And easy to adjust. It was versatile, you could use it for any finger. I used it once. I have no desire to use it again.I’m not going to bash it because it may work for others.I have sensitive skin and it rubbed my other fingers.
