Re: cube w/the tray top. when i use the tray, does it fit into the top of the cube or just sit on top? concerned with stability, can it slide off?

Your tray can be placed on top of the cube and it can hold up to 300 lbs. As long as the Ottoman is on a balanced ground, nothing can slide off. :)

What's the weight capacity?

The description says 300 lbs and I'd say that's pretty accurate for sitting. My 280 lb husband has sat on it. It's surprisingly sturdy and strong. Good quality.
