Wonderfully Packaged Flytraps.
The plants are on day three, and many of the flytraps have already opened up. I am new to carnivorous plants, and was doing a bit of research in advance, so I already had an inkling of what kind of water they needed. But the instructions that were sent along with these fellows were incredibly thorough, and the infographic for how to properly plant them was amazingly done. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to pot them properly, but the instructions helped. I was sent three plants all bundled together, and all of them lived, even the one that only had a single trap upon it. They are incredibly cool and I look forward to seeing how they will grow in the future. Along with the plants was the moss it needed and the planter. The things I had to acquire myself were the saucer for the water and the distilled water itself. Thank you for these lovely plants.

Seems legit
I got my Venus fly trap today and the instructions were easy to follow and everything was there. The only thing you need is distilled water and a small dish. The little plant looked strong and healthy and better than I had expected. There were a few black traps like Joe said was normal on his website. I'll write again in a few weeks to share progress.Alright, about one week later, my VFT appears to be shedding it's older traps and growing new ones. It drinks up the water in the dish pretty fast, so make sure to keep an eye on it. ;)

Cute Healthy Leaf Baby!!
I got a beautiful, healthy, strong little Venus Fly Trap that was very well packaged for it's long 4 day journey to my doorstep. A bit smaller than I was hoping for but oh well. It even thoughtfully came with it's own pot and Sphagnum moss growing medium as well as easy to understand printed instructions. Which I think is the perfect starter kit for anyone new to carnivorous plants. Since I already bought organic soil specially made for carnivorous plants & a pretty teal pot. I separated two of the rhizomes to root/grow in the pot & moss it came with(Yes, they're both moistened with/sitting in a deep plant saucer with an inch or two of distilled water. Beneath a BRIGHT full spectrum UV reptile bulb as well) If it dies, it's my fault since it arrived perfectly healthy but I am giving it the best of my efforts, knowledge, and experience with carnivorous plants. Thank Joel, you're awesome and I'll be purchasing from you again!!

Best Live Plant Shipment I've Ever Received
I was happily surprised with how well packed, healthy, and informative this order was.The instructions used plain English to explain how to have success with the VFTs. It also included substrate and containers. My plants, after 3 days, have begun to put on new traps.I can't express how awesome this experience was with receiving live animals/plants. I've worked with aquariums in the past and received literally hundreds of fish, coral, and aquatic plant shipments and this was the healthiest I've ever received. Thanks for such a great addition to my home :)

Awesome plant
This plant is awesome and so much fun. The plant size was perfect. It's growing really nicely with the great grow light that Joel recommended. I have only had one die off from it and that is to be expected. It's very sturdy and really like crickets.

Taking a shot 😎
I’ve always wanted to have a Venus Fly Trap but am not much of a green thumb. Recently, my wife convinced me to take a shot at growing one for a simple hobby and interest. After messaging questions to Joel about how to grow one (I’d read they were somewhat hard), I’ve went ahead and bought one. It came in good condition with easy to follow directions on how to pot and raise it. Also bought a grow light after Joel informed me how crucial having the proper lighting for one was. Now I’m being patient and waiting to see how Fred, my VFW’s nickname, turns out. Joel was friendly and a great help, IMO. Thanks Joel!As a follow-up, though I followed Joel’s great directions, feedback and even provided additional lighting just for my VFT, my experience with it, unfortunately, lasted only a week or so, far less time than I’d hoped. I’m somewhat disappointed.

My new VFT
The VFT arrived earlier than expected and it was clearly labeled “live plant” prompting the mailman to knock on the door. The healthy VFT was carefully packaged with everything needed for successful potting and included detailed care instructions. One thing I’m glad was emphasized was the use of distilled or reverse osmosis water. At least to me, that wasn’t intuitively obvious. In any case, I think we’re off to a good start. Thanks to Joel.
