I like airfix kits and I really hope other people enjoy them as much as me.

I am in the process of building this model at the moment and it is begining to look good.

Model was the usual high standard from Airfix, however the paints were very poor would not adhere to the plastic and one pot was totally congealed and useless.

Good kit.

These kits are for above beginner level unless looking for a challenge, but finish to a nice result

The model is pretty good, all the parts fit well and are clean.The reason for the one star is the included paints we're all dried up and beyond rescue. Sent two emails to Airfix via Amazon and no response at all. Maybe it was a one off but pretty bad that a well known and reputable company like Airfix to ignore a concern.

After a long break from building model kits I bought this set as a reintroduction to the hobby, I liked the fact all of the items required would be included in the kit, sadly two paint pots were dryed up and I had to buy two more paints. The kit quality is excellent and Airfix have come a long way since the last kit I built, the only criticism I have is there was a small gap under the engine cowl which needed filling, understand further items will be needed to finish this model properly, ie sanding bars, sprue cutters, knife etc but we can't expect Airfix to supply us with a tool set on every kit. Airfix, redesign your paint pots to stop this happening and I would give it 5/5 bought another Tempest and Typhoon kit, so hooked again
