Wire is much thinner than I expected.
The wire arrived promptly and was well packaged but I was a bit concerned when I opened the package because the wire was super-thin. It is actually thinner than the charger wire to my mobile phone.I required 12v 10 amps capacity to supply 4 120 LED light fittings so I hope this wire will perform as required.

Good wire for mains LED lights
Flexible, multi-strand 2-core mains cable, 0.5 sq mm, good for 3 amps, more than adequate for 6 x 7W LED lights (takes 180 mA!). I prefer multi-strand for wiring cable nuts because it conforms to the jaws. Convenient to purchase in small lengths; 10m was just right.

Good for mains spot lighting
Decent size of cable for lighting of low amps, eg spots. Beware however, whilst it was long enough for my needs, it was 9m rather than 10m. Did the job for me so decided not to return it. I’ve deduced the star rating as a result.

NOT DOUBLE INSULATED
This cable is not double insulated for mains voltage use.One one the photographs clearly shows double insulation where the other photographs do not. NOT HAPPY.

Too thin.
As other reviewers have mentioned, this feels easy too thin for UK mains cable. I'm not going to trust it for my lighting requirements.
