BoschCordless Grass Trimmer EasyGrassCut 18V-26 (Without Battery, 18 Volt System, Cutting Diameter: 26 cm, in Carton Packaging)

Very happy with my first cordless strimmer. I already have a lightweight corded Bosch strimmer which I love, but wanted to have the freedom of no cable attached. This cordless model I still feel is lightweight, although meaty battery attached. It’s performance is excellent and I can’t believe how long the battery has lasted, considering I had a large area to strim round. As usual I can’t fault Bosch again. So easy to assemble and comfortable to hold/operate. Sturdy construction too.I am small in height and have health issues, so was important to have a lightweight machine that felt comfortable and easy to use. I got a great priced bundle too. What’s not to like.

Lightweight, easy to set up. More than powerful enough to eaten up edges, borders and patches you’ve forgotten about. Haven run out of batter life as of yet and used it 4-5 times in and around a 90 square meter garden.

I decided to go for this simpler designed Bosch EasyGrassCut 18V-26 strimmer as the previous Bosch strimmer I purchased (UniversalGrassCut 18V-260 strimmer with folding handle ) was poorly designed and parts wore out or broke over it short life. The Bosch EasyGrassCut 18V-26 strimmer came in a very small box as the long handle is in 3 parts. I could not find any assembly instructions on the box or any of the supplied user manual / paperwork but worked out you had to remove the rubber bungs and slot the three parts together until they clicked in place and use a screwdriver to fit the safety cover in place over the strimmer head. In fact the user manual / paperwork is fairly useless being in dozens of languages and in very small print. What useful information there is buried deep amongst 95% of information of no or little use. The product itself feels very robust and works well but time will tell how long it lasts .

Very pleased with this strimmer, very light , quick to charge and long lasting power. Suitable for small garden with light strimming needs. Ideal for edging , quick & easy.

Having initially tried one of numerous cheap clones with the saw blade attached I realised that you get what you pay for. The Bosch is well made for the price and conveniently there's the option to purchase without the battery (already have several). If you've not got a battery then I'd suggest buying a decent high capacity compatible one rather than going with the bundle.Not given it a decent outing yet but seemed to work well on the bit of long grass I pointed it at as a test. Obviously not as powerful as a corded or petrol but more than adequate for tidying up a small plot. Also what it lacks in power it more than makes up for in convence.

Purchased for light duty strimming of lawn edges as an alternative to conventional shears. Very impressed with the speed and ease of use. Considerably faster and easier. The adjustable wire spacer allow you to strim right up to the gravel board without actually eating it away. It also works very well when you rotate the head through 180 degrees to tidy up edges next to a path. The wire spacer supports the strimmer at exactly the right height if you run it along the path (rather than the grass) and takes the weight of the strimmer while you strim. Did all I wanted to do without needing a recharge, probably 20 mins work so I don't yet know how long a single charge lasts.

I am teetering on the edge between 3 and 4 stars. It is hard to give it 3 when it does what it says and they tell you straight out it runs on one 18v battery. I am just used to a homebase model that has two batteries and 2 strings with blade option.My problem is that my batteries aren't charging anymore and I can't find replacements for it. So I decided to buy a new grass trimmer that has available batteries. I also wanted to choose a well known brand of grass trimmers so here I am.It takes a bit longer to cut through my grass with the Bosch. but to be fair my yard is overgrown. I do like the smaller design and that you don't have to keep fiddling with it or changing heads. It is very straightforward. It is also lightweightI actually enjoy using grass trimmers rather than a lawnmower because they are so much lighter. So I had fun with this. I just never should have let my grass get this tall lol.

Absolute game-changer for us in managing our garden and lawn. Works brilliantly dealing with weeds and grass. Took us a while to figure out how to install and lock in the spool and once we did, all good. We have spent hundreds of pounds paying someone to help strim the weeds etc. We can now easily do it ourselves when needs must. Lightweight and excellent results. We have other Bosch products so were able to use the same batteries for this strimmer. Should have bought this a lot sooner!!
