Half gallon wide-mouthed jars
These jars are great with visible cup/pint markings on the side. I'm using several of them to create sprouts for my pet's & foster's health. The wide mouth makes it much easier to reach inside and grab a batch of sprouts. The other jars will be used for freezing.These are a great addition to my home rescue! I may even buy another set of 6! Great price too!

When you need spmething to do Lacto-fermentation in
The traditional container to do lacto-fermentation is a crock. Well, have you priced those lately? I do all my fermentation in half gallon Ball Jars. Always the perfect size, and great results. We live in a tropical climate and fermentation is done in our cool season. The rest of the time we used these jars to store dry goods.

Worst packaging if any!
The package arrived shattered, but Amazon was quick to refund immediately. It looks "exactly" like the picture; toss it in a slightly larger box and drop-kick it to Florida.
