Make sure you have the new style valve for these cans!
After reading the reviews for this product I also ordered the Lu-Hawk R134A Self-Sealing, and Single Puncture Can Taps, with Valve Core Removal Tool. It includes the old style, puncturing type stem, valve and the new style (EPA) driven) stem that is rounded to open the "Schrader" type valve on the top of the can without damaging the valve. I suspect most of the negative reviews of the refrigerant can was from trying to use the old style valves. I weighed each can before using as a starting reference and all three were a couple of ounces more than 12-ounces. I choose to leave the vehicle a little short of refrigerant and only used one of the cans. I didn't trust the new style value not to leak over time. To be fair, I don't know how the valve in the can works. I may cut the used can apart and see if it is really like a Schrader valve for future reference. Does anyone know how the New style valve works?

1 of 3 bad. Self-sealing Rubber wont close.
One of the 3 did not have any pressure, and would not dispense refrigerant. 1 of them I used all of it, so I couldn't test the rubber seal but the last one I only needed partial amount but the Self-sealing Rubber wont stop spraying so I had to leave it hooked to the manifold. I don't want to vent 3/4 of a can into the atmosphere.
