Cardstock Paper Value Pack, 8.5 x 11 in Kraft by Recollections (Value 2-PACK)

I specifically ordered the Recollections brand because it is thicker and holds ink from my printer better than any other cardstock I've used. This time around I got shipped a no name brand of paper that was flimsier, a different color, and obviously not the same quality as the other times that I've purchased. Very disappointed.

I use this cardstock paper to make an array of items. You get 50 sheets in one package (I paid $11.00 for the package). The price was a little high considering I only got 50 sheets, but I am still very happy with the quality of the paper. The paper came very well-packaged in a plastic coating- no bends or creases were on the sheets.I ordered the 'brown' color- and it came exactly as pictured. It was a little darker than I anticipated. The darker color makes it harder to see black ink. The ink still shows up, it's just not as vivid as it is on a lighter brown/ tan card stock. There are lighter-colored card stock papers on the market, but none are quite as thick as this- which is why I've continued to purchase this brand even though the color is a bit dark. This card stock paper is thick, durable, and very well-made. It's a perfect thickness for homemade cards, gift tags, price tags, and labels. I've used these to make cards, gift tags, and labels for my handmade products. I've also used them to make little 'table signs' that tell my customers what my different products are- and the prices at the craft fairs I attend. The paper is heavy enough that it can be folded in half and stood up- which is awesome.I also love this cardstock because I make quite a few different pet toys with it. It's unbleached and free of ink- which means it's safe for small pets. I've made shreddable rodent toys for hamsters, gerbils, mice, and rats. I've also made larger shreddable toys for rabbits, chinchillas, and guinea pigs. I've used cuts of this paper in bird toys as well. All of the animals seem to really love shredding this paper and the hard texture is a great way to keep them busy.Overall I'm extremely happy with this purchase and I've come back for three more orders of this paper since buying my first set. The price is a bit high- as I already mentioned, but the quality is far superior than other cheaper brands. I do wish they offered a lighter brown or a tan color, but aside from the fact that ink doesn't show up extremely well- it's great for almost any other purpose.

This is a decent cardstock as far as color goes. There are a few little flecks here and there to add interest, but not so many that it detracts from the design you're creating. It is not a good cardstock to stamp directly on, as it does not take ink well, but I didn't buy it for that anyway. I am used to using SU's kraft cardstock, and it is much thicker than this. I found this works better if you use layers. This is also quite a bit darker than SU's kraft cardstock, if that matters to you. Overall, I think it was a decent buy, and would most likely buy again. Came in a timely manner.

I love the price, but it is more orange-brown than the kraft cardstock that i normally buy (that i love) and although this is also 65 lb, it is significantly thicker than my normal kraft cardstock. i can't even use it with my printer. it prints everything off more than half a page and i can't figure out why(i always feed one sheet at a time). I tried out my normal kraft cardstock and it printed perfectly. my best guess is that this cardstock is too thick. i won't be buying again, as it doesn't not work for the purpose for which i bought it.

Not at ALL what I ordered. Arrived with no label, and when I opened it to feel the quality, I was disappointed to find it is nothing more than construction paper. NOT cardstock. The only thing that’s correct is the color and size. I ordered this to use as paper for invitations, and now I’ll have to find something else.

I purchased this to make wedding invitations for my best friend. Her theme is burlap and lace. These give that great burlap feel to the invitations and is thick enough to make them feel like nice expensive invitations and not cheap DIY ones!

I needed brown cardstock for my 2nd graders to make gingerbread people. I love to craft and had just about every other color except brown. This worked perfectly!

I sell postcard card sized prints and I wanted to cut those and add them as backing with the plastic sleeve to protect them...However I think this cardstock might even be thinner than the photo paper I use to print my postcard.Definitely disappointing for what I had in mind
