I was amazed by how much fun I had reading this book. If you like spiderman and multiverse stories? This is the book for you. This omnibus collection is the perfect way to read this story, in my opinion. Its mapped perfectly. Lots of times marvel likes to map events like this by series, for reasons that baffle me. It's just is confusing to read it this way. Its mapped chronologically. Basically like how the age of apocalypse omni was mapped. I also liked how it led up to the event. It doesn't just throw you in, a good chunk of issues introduce you to who these spider people are. Dont know who spider gwen is? Here is an issue giving you a feel for the character. Spiderman noir? Same thing. It doesnt do it for everyone, but it does it for a lot of them. So when you get to the actual event, you are actually invested in these characters and hope that they make it through to the end. The story is rather simple though. Bad people want to kill all the spiders. The spidermen and women team up to stop them. But it doesnt matter, it's just a blast to read. I wish 15 year old me had read this. His mind would have been blown. As it is, 47 year old me still enjoyed the heck out of this. Also, if you like the movie like "spiderman into the spiderverse" or "no way home" this is the story that actually gave birth to those ideas. Granted, the movies are vastly different than this book, but still, it's the same idea. So yeah. If you like spidey and the multiverse, or if you enjoy those movies? It's a no brainer to buy this book.

My teen daughter is hooked on everything Marvel. She loved how this was organised into one huge graphic novel (over 1400 pages)It takes pride of place in her collection.
