This was a birthday present for my granddaughter. She turned five yesterday but already knows she wants to be a doctor. She checked everyone's oxygen levels, more than once. She loves it. I think it was a great gift idea. It will help me to know how I am doing while she is "playing doctor"!

I purchased this for a sick friend. He said he can see the numbers very clearly. It was very important for him to monitor himself before walking around or showering. He's happy so I am very pleased with the gift of an oximeter.

This item does eventually produce a reasonably accurate reading. My check was comparing the simultaneous pulse readings between my Omron blood pressure machine and the Zacurate pulse oximeter. You will however, need to wait for several measurement cycles for the readings to stabilize. The oxygen readings were the same as I get in the doctor's office.

Seems to work good, I will be discussing my consistent 93 reading with my doctor soon. I like how simple it is to use and how compact it is. Good for home and/or travel.

I purchased this Pulse-Ox in mid 2020 as a precaution during covid and did not think much of it until I was recently diagnosed with a minor heart defect that causes me to have random bouts of SVT.Opting to keep it in my purse fir emergencies, I had no idea how helpful it would be until I had a cardiac emergency the other day.When this happens, my HR typically goes into the 260's, so I was not surprised when it wouldn't register, but once it got down into 230-240 range it did register!PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, NO ONE'S HR IS INTENDED TO BE THAT HIGH AND MOST PULSE-OX WON'T EVEN READ BEYOND 200's - SO I FELT IT WAS IMPORTANT TO UPDATE MY REVIEW HERE ON AMAZON.I am truly impressed that this device - not only has it lasted nearly 6 years, but it was also accurate compared to the professional equipment used on me by the paramedics.This device has really helped my gauge when I am in need of rescue medication vs 911! I would say it is the best $ you could ever spend if you have chronic problems with palpitations.Side note. This device came with a nice, gray, ribbon style/clip lanyard that I replaced with a smaller (light blue) wristlet. The lanyard it came with is still in tact, but I opted for the colorful one as a preference. Just want to make mention that the blue wristlet actually came with a silicone remote control cover for my Vizio TV that I placed on the pulse-ox instead.

A problem developed with this device after a few months. I contacted customer service, and they resolved the issue. They were quick to address the issue and replace the item.The device before the problem worked great. Hopefully the replacement will last a little longer.
