The fan looks beautiful in my room. I will advise if you were looking for a shiny gold. This is more of a mat finish in the blades when the fan is not running does look like plastic. However, the light and the fan works Grey.

Got the gold one. Leafs are light plastic, as is the light cover. The light projection source is a led circle that magnetizes to the inner canopy. Interesting design. Not sure how to replace it if it goes bad eventually. Remote took 2-AAA batteries for ours. Rest of the components did seem quality.Thankfully I had put up 3 other Lowe's bought fans today or this would have been a big pain to figure out. Instructions don't tell you the correct/best order or steps and broken English all over.Even at its top speed of 6, the air flow feels the same as our Lowe's fans on medium setting and they are the same size and drop. Does look nice tho, ngl. Wife is happy with it, that's the main concern.

I got 2 of these formy primary bedroom. They are beautiful.My issue is that the fans I replaced were controlled with light switches. One for the light and one for the fan. By replacing the old fans, now, only one switch works. It turns on the light, and then you have to use the remote to control the fan. My electrician could not get it wired to have both work from the switched wired into the house.I don't know if it was a problem with my electrician, or the fan, but it is annoying to have light switches that are not useable and to know just using this has to be so complicated.

This fan is so beautiful and has many options with lighting how you like it, I love a warm light but can change it whenever!

Took longer to install than any other fan I've ever done. Huge headache. Then finally it's installed and I can't even use the thing because it requires some unusual 12V battery that I have to special order off Amazon.If I had seen the battery before installation, I would have never even ordered this thing.Do not buy, waste of time and money.UPDATE:I finally got the battery for the remote and this thing doesn't even work. Straight up doesn't turn on. Did I install it wrong? Does the remote not connect? Who knows.If only there was a simple manual solution (like a pull chain) that could have stopped this issue from ever happening.

This look is perfect for our bedroom where we have a white, emerald green and gold color pallet. I’m a plant person and have several birds of paradise in our room so the look of the palm leaf compliments it nicely. I will say the light on this is very focused, we have a large room and the light does not disperse through the room it’s more spotlight like if that makes sense, we don’t mind that though being in our bedroom we honestly don’t use the light very much anyway.
