Sturdy material, perfectly stitched. Very neat. I chose a dark gray color. It is very beautiful. You can see the greasy neck marks, but not much. Everything is easy to hand wash. It says to keep it in water for no more than 5 minutes. I dry it on clothespins, for 4 hours and it is dry. It came with a fabric swatch. But I did not set it on fire and did not test it. Because when I soaked the pillowcase I saw that it was natural silk. But I didn't feel the coolness of sleeping on it. I would like to buy an elastic band sheet and duvet cover. But it's still expensive for me. I didn't have time to test it on my long hair because I had a short bob done. It doesn't cause any breakage on my face!

Beautiful, soft and silky pillowcase. This is the second one I have ordered for my teenage grandson. He slept on mine once snd loved it so much that he wanted them for himself. I,too, love mine. I decided to order a silk pillowcase since it's supposed to be better for your hair. So glad I did. This pillowcase is soft and silky. The quality is excellent! The zipper works easily and is sewn inside so it doesn't touch your face. It washes up easily as well. I put it in a mesh washing bag inside out. Wash it on delicate in my machine, turn it right side out and hang to dry. I will be ordering one for my husband. Excellent product!

I keep this pillow on top of the decorative pillows on my bed and I think it looks really handsome. While it does take a bit more TLC -- I hand wash it with a gentle shampoo and hang it to dry -- this extra care takes only about 2 minutes. And it makes me smile every time I lay my head down on it!

Finally purchased this silk pillowcase. We love them. So soft, cooling and they look so nice on the bed. Washes up so easily. I put them in a mesh washing bag inside out. Wash on delicate in my machine then turn right side out and smooth them and hang to dry. Once dry no wrinkles! The difference in my hair is remarkable. No tangles and the dryness is gone. Even my face is less dry. My husband loves them too. Will be purchasing more in the future.

I’ve heard satin or silk pillowcases are better for your hair. Did a little research and decided to go with silk as it is not supposed to be as hot. Finally pulled the trigger and ordered one. Why did I wait so long? I love the softness and feel. My hair loves it too. Much less problem with “bed head”. Wash and dry it with my sheets and it comes out without a wrinkle. Don’t wait. I purchased this pillowcase after finding that all of the satin pillowcases I tried left me with disheveled in the morning. In contrast, this beautiful mulberry silk pillowcase left me with very smooth hair in the morning. The price of this brand was lower than the other brands so I wasn't sure if it would be high quality but decided to purchase it based on the high reviews. I have found it to be very high quality - it's a good weight and it washed very well. I read reviews for some other brands indicating that the dye ran when the pillowcases were first washed, but I didn't find that with this brand of pillowcase at all. I purchased the lavender color and am very happy with it - I would definitely recommend it!
