The refurbished version of the external monitor works like new! It was entirely plug-and-play; I plugged it into my Surface Pro 7 using the USB-C to USB-C cord (included, along with an HDMI to mini-HDMI cord and a USB-A to USB-C charging cord and charging block), and it worked immediately.Picture quality is adequate, brightness is easily controlled. It was slightly heavier than I had anticipated, but not too heavy to be an issue. The included cover/stand works well, though I recommend being careful not to extend it too far (or the magnet will disengage). As long as it is not angled too much, it is stable. And it is nice that the stand flips over to be a cover.Overall, I am very happy with the refurbished portable monitor, especially for the price!

The screen has a decent stand/protective cover. It is as good as having a standard monitor if not better. The screen clarity matches my laptop screen at 1920x1080 resolution(see attached picture). I was worried about whether the product would have low brightness and inadequate build quality but I'm blown away by the quality and feel of the casing and placement of buttons and ports. I'm really impressed with how much comes within the box, usb-c to usb-c cable, mini HDMI to HDMI cable(I use this) and a standard size charging cable and power brick. 2 year warranty after product registration, they promptly respond to the email.Seeing other reviews of the monitor screen being used with just a power bank as a power source is exciting as it can possibly be used to entertain during camping trips to watch movies at night in a tent! Overall great product.

I had long been contemplating a portable, external laptop monitor. I like being able to work in different locations but it's hard without a secondary screen. I could not be more delighted with everything about this monitor - size, portability, display, ease of use (plug it in and pick a resolution!) and price. What a deal! It's one of those "why did I wait so long" purchases!

I bought this monitor (pictured on top) to have a second little display for my desktop that could also be taken traveling and used with my Surface Pro 8. I used a third-party vesa-mounting tablet clamp to hold this monitor, I did not use any built-in vesa mounting hardware or connections, but it works well with my clamp.The monitor itself does its job well, especially at this price point. The brightness is reasonable; you couldn't use it in direct sunlight but that's typical and understandable. It works fine indoors. Colors aren't notably great or bad, seem true enough for my purposes. I have not seen any issue with dead pixels, dim sections of the display, etc.The only reasons I docked stars were due to the "other" items that came with it: The case/cover that can also serve as a kickstand does not actually cover the entirety of the back of the monitor, leaving half of the back of the monitor open to scuffs and scratches. It covers the most important parts of it, so it's fine for my uses, but it is a small gripe. Additionally, it came with the necessary cables to use the device, but the cables are pretty bad quality. They are stiff, relatively short, and not braided or in any way durable-seeming. Luckily it's simple enough to buy third-party cables (be sure you buy the right sort of USB-C if you're going to be using it to transmit the display!) so this doesn't truly hurt the main product, but it is something that I feel they could have done better with.

I purchased this to add a monitor to my laptop. The monitor performs as described and easily hooks up to the laptop or my cell phone. The monitor comes with cables for HDMI, USBC, and USB as well as a power plug for when the monitor can't pull enough power from the main unit it is connected to. There are built in speakers, so you may end up needing to tell your computer which sound output you want prioritized, but that is a relatively minor setting change.The in box cover is magnetic in nature, so the monitor can pop off if it's bumped or pushed around too much, but I haven't had an issue with it. Display has good color and light output for a secondary monitor, but it doesn't go as high definition as the laptop screen. That's to be expected, so I'm not complaining, just commenting.Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

This is a great little portable monitor! It's light, thin, affordable and fits alongside my laptop in my bag. Customer service is also excellent!! 👍🏼
