Lots of shedding
This review is for Unger Microfiber Wool Duster - Compatible with Poles, Pet Hair & Dust Cleaner, TVs, Molding, Electronics & FurnitureI selected this duster particularly for the washable feature. I don't like to use single use dusters because it seems wasteful and polluting. This duster works very well, but washing it, for me, was a mess. It shed all over the place. It's easy to remove and reinstall the duster from the post, but it just makes a mess of fibers. I would suggest washing this in a mesh garment bag to keep the shedding off your other laundered items. The handle fit several of my extension poles, and the duster worked as expected. It's a bit bulky.

This is not a "universal fit as advertised
I needed to replace my prior duster head for interior use. I already have two extension poles strictly used inside. This duster head does not fit either extension pole to either screw on or clip on. Both poles are different sizes so I thought I'd get lucky with one or the other after it became clear that this Unger duster head wasn't going to fit on the first pole - but that wasn't the case. So I am faced with either buying another Unger-specific pole or returning the duster head. I'm rather annoyed at the false advertising saying that it was a "universal fit". And the final insult upon injury is we already own an Unger pole but we use it outside only to wash our exterior windows on our home and it is really dirty and nothing I'd like to transition inside. Plus - the Unger poles are heavy and that's not what I'd like to use just to dust my ceiling moldings, vents and fans. I just need a lightweight extension pole and one that bends at the neck so I can hang it up nicely over a hook when not in use so I don't have this straight wand that is awkward and hard to hang. I hope this helps someone.

The duster part is good, but not the handle
The handle won't snap in. I've tried many times. It just won't snap into place. it's completely useless to use. They need to come up with a better design.

Worked with My Extension Pole, Easy to Use and Clean
The Unger microfiber duster allows me to reach the high corners of my vaulted foyer staircase when attached to my Ettore extension pole. I didn’t have to screw the duster handle onto my extension pole because it has slots that match the push-in lock pin on my pole (one slot on each side, although I only have and used one pin and that was enough to secure it). Alternatively, I could press the pin in and create a more secure hold with friction; though the pole didn’t reach far enough to engage with the threads, it felt securely attached. Once it’s fluffed up, the duster head measures about 5”W x 11”L.The duster grabbed cobwebs with a twist, and I was able to clean them off the microfiber simply by brushing with a dry paper towel. When the duster needs to be washed, the microfiber, which is held on by elastic, can be removed from the handle and thrown in the washer. Under the microfiber is a soft Styrofoam core which is essentially a miniature pool noodle. I like this added protection in case I accidentally whack a ceiling fan or light fixture while dusting using a pole. The instruction card says that the head bends to dust hard-to-reach places, though it didn’t bend easily, and I didn’t see it demonstrated on the product page, so I was hesitant to force it. The handle has a nice rubberized grip and can be removed, presumably to work with other tools in the Unger Connect & Clean system. This duster seems thoughtfully designed and easy to use. I have no complaints.

Makes more sense than the disposable dusters
For years I had gone to the disposable dusters but realized that it was costing me more money and was more of an impact than a duster such as this one from Unger. This microfiber duster picks up just as much, if not more, dust than the disposable model and can easily be washed regularly keeping it like new. The material is very soft, and the duster happens to fit my extension pole I already have which was a nice plus. After reading the Technical Details in the product listing, I am so glad to find that the "Suggested Users" is listed as "unisex-adult". I did not notice this prior to ordering and am not sure how I would have been able to use the duster if it was only labeled for the opposite sex. I believe that this duster can in fact be machine washed as it says so in multiple places even though the Technical Details section says, "Hand Wash Only".

Went beack to our other duster after a few uses
I have a weird feather duster someone gave me that I like, but decided to try this instead. The plastic handle doesn't feel very solid and overall it's just not the most comfortable thing to work with. It dusts okay, but just doesn't to work as well as the other one we have. I gave this a try a few times for just general dusting around the living room and then decided to go back to our old one. Maybe this has a more specific use and isn't really intended for general dusting.
