customization options and was about as easy as it got to unbox and get printing right ...
I finally purchased my first 3D printer. Since this is my first go at it, I went with a basic 3D printer that offered the few things I wanted, customization options and was about as easy as it got to unbox and get printing right away. So I ended up with a Lulzbot Mini which so far as exceeded my expectations.I did a few searches on what ABS filament to try and this brand kept on coming up so I figured there must be something to it. So far, I am not disappointed. Everything I have printed to this point has come out extremely well. I did have to do some custom settings in Cura in order for it to print properly in ABS, which is/was to be expected. So far, I have loved the quality and durability of everything I have printed. I have yet to try a slower/higher quality print mode so when I do, I will update my review as needed. So far, so good! I look forward to purchasing more from this company/brand!

... TAZ 5 printer and it extruded well at the recommended 230°C set point
Used this in my Lulzbot TAZ 5 printer and it extruded well at the recommended 230°C set point. The filament is high quality with accurate filament dimensions, good extrusion adhesion between the PEI print bed surface / first layer and between layers. My only gripe is the color fidelity is not as high as I would have liked, once extruded the color went from the gloss red on the reel to about a half a shade lighter with more of a red orange hue so minus 1/2 a star for that to an overall 4.5 star rating.Mechanically this is good filament and I will be purchasing from IC3D in the future. I am comparing this with my exposure to the Lulzbot village plastics filament and at 3/4 the cost this is a very good alternative.

Red is good.
This is good stuff. My prints have turned out really strong. I have had complete failure with the blue.Update: There was not a problem with the blue. I had a moisture problem. Even though I kept it in bags with desiccant, moisture got in and messed up my results. I placed some freshly charged desiccant in the bag along with a 6 dot humidity indicator and now all is well. IC3D is a great company.

Seems To Work OK
This is really the first time I've used IC3D filament because I just upgraded to a Lulzbot printer that uses 3mm filament. It was "vacuum packed" to keep out moisture. So far, I haven't had any trouble feeding it or printing with it. The only thing I can find fault with is that it changes color. That is, the color of the roll is a bright, glossy, red. Printed objects, however, are a flat, faded, red color. This is not a really big deal, but since I don't bother painting anything, I like to have several different colors on hand to fit my preference. Previously, I had a DaVinci printer that required use of their proprietary filament. In this case, the printed object color was the same color and gloss as the filament, bright red. It's possible that the nozzle temperature is too high since I'm running it at the Lulzbot-recommend temperature for ABS, 240 degrees. The maximum IC3D-recommended temperature is 230. I may also check out other filament brands to see how they perform in my new printer. For now, IC3D seems to be of good quality and reasonably priced.

Best red ABS I've found
Prints smoothly and cleanly, no bubbles or globs between 220-250. No smell. No problems feeding or sticking to the platen. Nice large spool without tangles.BUT...it's the best red filament I've used in that it holds it's color best, regardless of temperature. There is a color shift, from a cherry red to a warmer orangish fire red but it's still vibrant. Other red ABS I've used have faded going through the extruder, coming out pinkish or faded, esp at higher temps.

Excellent customer service
I am giving this product 5 stars because of the excellent quality of IC3D's customer service. Post sale I received an email to confirm that I was happy with the filament. I ran into an extruding issue with mousebites at the recommended 230C extrusion temperature. I replied to the email with questions and Matt was more than helpful. This ABS also has next to no smell as it is extruding and seems to suffer less warping or shrinking than other premium ABS that I've printed with. I would buy another roll from them again. Good product, excellent customer and post sale support.

Very unhappy with my Ultimaker 2. I'm sticking to PLA

Seems to be very good quality. Though I do still get layer separation ...
It's only 2 lbs instead of the typical 1 Kg. Mine measured at between 2.86 and 2.94 mm which was off from 3.0 by enough to require adjustments in slic3r. It's also maybe harder than what I was using, causing the feed rate to be higher.Seems to be very good quality. Though I do still get layer separation on many prints, and it still warps like any ABS does.
