It was less expensive to buy this complete kit than the seal gasket for the Yellow Jacket core tool I had - it worked very well

Good for critical charge units.
Like what others have said it won't cling to the core as is. Not what I needed it for. I used it to recharge a critical charge unit after fixing a leak and it did great. Lost no referent from the system. Only what was in my line set. Tho it should be easy to glue a small magnet in the stem to get it to hold on to the stems.

Poorly made and dangerous.
I agree with another reviewer 'Miphil'. This totally came apart where it screws to the charging port. It has a snap ring inside. It popped off as I gently tightened it. Not the Best Machined Tool but Gets the Job Done
The cap of the stem is a little crooked, so if you use it to remove a valve core from a pressurized system, the valve core may fall off inside the tool when pulling back and you will have a very bad situation to deal with. However, in my application, I only need to put the valve core back once pressurizing the system. The valve core was removed when the system is empty. For this application, the tool does its job and is cheap. If you need to remove the valve core when the system is pressurized, you may want to get a more expensive tool.

410 adapter leaks around 1/4 saw end
Leaks. With 410 adapter won’t reach s header valve
