I bought this to fill a gap on some shelves and it’s a lovely size and it’s a great feature that it can be usb or battery powered with a remote.However we found with the base being as it is, the light just bled out of this and didn’t really hit the acrylic enough to illuminate the wording right. Don’t get me wrong, you could see it but it didn’t pop out.I decided to try and wrap the base to try and channel the light a bit better and this made a huge difference. I didn’t manage to get a picture of it on before the change, but as you can see in this picture you can really see the wording now.The colours are bright and vibrant, although this is actually purple in the picture, don’t go by that, this was on blue and it looks actual blue.There are many colour options and modes, and for the price I would highly recommend getting something like this if it is what you are after.

I thought it would be more high tech, the photo looks amazing, but it’s actually a transparent plastic disk that is illuminated in the colour that you choose. Also battery doesn’t last long so you almost have to keep it plugged in at all time.
