Much bang for the buck!
I am not a hunter but we have a creek bed behind the house and it is seasonal, I was told that cougar go up and down that creek bed so I set up the camera to see if that was true a week later we have a bobcat that goes by every morning at 6 AM and deer but no cougars. This took very good pictures, and I liked it I was able to delete them after looking at them.My son-in-law is a hunter and he really liked it he said it was a very good camera after a week of it being out there was very little battery usage which was awesome Hardly any of the batteries were used for that entire week.Cons: INSTRUCTIONS! I took a picture of the little bit of instructions that you get on the inside of the camera but that is it it tells you that you can adjust sensitivity settings and a bunch of other things but it doesn’t tell you what type of settings they are what adjusting them would do or not do! For someone who doesn’t know anything about these cameras that is a little irritating. So I guess it’s just use it and try it and use it and try it until you figure out what it is. You do need to get the SD card I took a picture of that because I really was not sure which one it would be I tried a generic one which did not work, however that one that I took a picture of ScanDisk worked perfectly, it must be formatted before you use it but you can format it in the camera itself there is an option in the menu section to format it before you start.Overall it’s a great camera I got it on prime day and got a very good price.

Reviewing specifically the Time-Lapse feature
I purchased this camera to replace an older time lapse trail camera. All of the camera descriptions do a terrible job at explaining how their time-lapse works. My current camera creates a video file for the start/stop time set per day that is viewable. Each picture is basically a frame for the video created, and with my settings, would take over 9000 photos a day, which is insane to have to view them one by one. I have tested multiple cameras and this camera creates a viewable .AVI file per day of recording! I have my interval set for every 5 seconds and to record 13 hours a day (dawn to dusk). Set on the 5MP recording it allows for just over 2 weeks of capture on a 256GB micro sd card. You have the option to do time-lapse video at 3MP, 5MP, or 8MP. The video at 5MP is great for identifying what you are viewing. If this is the type of time-lapse experience you are looking for, this is the camera to get!

Beware of moisture
When it is functioning properly, the pictures are very clear. Unfortunately, after not checking it for 6 days, I just discovered the whole IR light area is filled with moisture and inside the camera lens, there's moisture right in the center. I also changed the batteries while I was out there. There was some water laying in the bottom. Not sure how long it will last with all that moisture. Unfortunately, it's just past the return timeframe, so I'm stuck with it.

Very good quality video for the money
The media could not be loaded. I bought the camera and placed it on Land Trust public property to monitor bluebird chicks leaving the nest. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money in the event the camera was stolen. I was very pleased with the quality of the video recorded. The users manual could have had a bit more detailed information, however, customer service did respond to two emailed questions within a few hours. Buying 8 batteries and a chip card did add about $25 to the base cost, but overall I very pleased with my first purchase of a game camera.

It's lasted longer than some of the other cameras I've used.
Doesn't seem to me that it always takes pictures at night. Even with fresh batteries. But, can't say that on the nights it didn't don't have any way to say nothing was down there. When I try to zoom the picture quality goes down quickly. Maybe it's my settings. The one picture on here not quite sure what the alien probe is next to the deer.

DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED
**UPDATE** After purchasing power supplies to run the cameras, one of them records audio with an unbearably loud buzzing & you can't hear anything else, thus rendering the audio recording essentially useless. And after additional attempts to use the cameras it seems that my initial suspicion that the sensitivity settings do absolutely nothing are confirmed. These issues when added to all the others = Will be returning. The description says "0.1s Fast Trigger", and "The camera can be set to trigger time (0.1s-0.4s)". THIS IS A LIE. There is no such setting in the menu options. The only menu options are under "Shot Lag" with an options range of 2 seconds (minimum) up to 60 minutes (max). When testing I would slowly walk towards the camera from outside the trigger range waving my arms around. When I then checked the video it recorded, I couldn't figure out why the recording was only beginning when I was already well over half way into the trigger range to the camera, (about 20ft away). I changed the sensitivity to high but got the same results. Both the description on Amazon and the camera manual states that the Detection Distance is 80ft day & 65ft night. But in the "How to Use" section of the manual it gives a diagram stating that the detection range is "10~50ft". The manual also states that in the "Test" mode you can adjust the detection range. This is also a LIE. There is no menu setting to in any way change, adjust or control the detection range.TERRIBLE BATTERY CONSUMPTION. I set the camera to capture video only and bumped the resolution up one setting from the default 720 to 1080. I ran one camera with 8 brand new Duracell batteries from noon to 10pm to test it out, turned it off and brought the memory card inside to see what it had recorded. It had recorded twenty two 20 second videos, mostly of my cat. I was happy with the quality and clarity of the videos, both day and night, even though the detection range and lag was limiting, and even though I had it set to high sensitivity it didn't seem to be having any issues being triggered by wind, blowing branches & leaves etc. I had to wonder if the three settings in sensitivity actually do anything. At that point the battery life still showed 100%. I cleared the card, put it back in the camera and turned it to "ON" for overnight recording. I then installed the second camera (which had not been run at all yet) with brand new batteries and identical settings in another location. Both cameras were set to "ON", not Test. The next morning when I checked both camera cards they were both empty and had recorded absolutely nothing. The battery indicator on both cameras showed less than 1/3 battery life. The manual says that during the night, if the battery power is lower than 1/2 it will stop shooting and enter standby mode. Other issues were the "Time & Date" settings - When you go to set the time it gives you two options for time format: 12hr and 24hr, but it makes not difference which one you choose it only runs/displays in military time.Summary: Value for the money is not good. I spent an additional $35 on memory cards, $17 on batteries and will now have to buy two 6v power supplies ($14 ea) and run power to them if I want to keep using them and actually record anything at night. So the actual cost of the cameras are about $32 more ea, so $100 EACH CAMERA (or +$40 more if you also waste 1 round of batteries like I did) There are other camera with the same offerings for much less that at least come with a memory card &/or power supply.
