Tourna Ballport Premium Wire Tennis Hopper for Ball Pickup, Practice, and Transport

I had an issue where the two halves of one of the wheels kept coming apart. After going through various mitigations I eventually contacted sales/customer support and requested to purchase the parts for a replacement wheel. Abby Brunelle at Tourna manually shipped one to me for free. Thanks, Abby!As for the ballport itself, it takes a little time to get used to switching the legs between the up or down position but after you figure out the 'technique' the ballport is very easy to use. I bought this ballport over a year ago when I was looking for a large ball basket to go with my ball machine, and specifically wanted one with wheels to avoid having to carry the whole basket around the court. This basket achieves both aims wonderfully. I'd definitely recommend this basket over smaller ones which both hold fewer balls and which don't have wheels for rolling around.

Picking up tennis balls is now a breeze.Construction is quality except one has to be gentle with the handles or they pop out. I also like the dual functionality as a grabber and a ball stand.

It works well for picking up the balls (without bending yourself all the time) and as it is metal, very sturdy. I only wish there was a lock or strap to keep the handles together when transporting it in the car. I am short, so I added something with padding and I can carry it on my shoulder.

First, this comes with no instructions, no way to contact the company, etc., despite needing installation. Not even a simple QR code or link to where you can find it online and from a Google search there is nothing online. Second, it appears to be an inherently defective design. It's has two functions: 1) to pick up balls with the legs being swung up and used as arms; 2) to be a waist-height ball stand where you can quickly pick up balls while feeding them, with the legs swung downward. The problem is the legs have no locking system when they are in the downward position. With no balls in the hopper you can sort of get it to stand on its own for a while though eventually gravity causes the legs to gradually slide until the whole thing collapses. With the weight of 70 balls it has no support to remain standing at all. It's a baffling design. They appear to be counting on an extremely minor resistance from the wire corners of the basket to prevent the legs from sliding on their own, but this is so trivial that as I said eventually even empty it slides out on its own. And other than returning it, there's absolutely no way to get any support on the product.

Sturdy and easy to use

I used this product for transporting tennis ball, pick up for practicing and my kids how to play tennis. it is sturdy once it is standing on its own wire stand. but a little bit work when folding it back to pick up the balls.

Great quality and easy to assemble!

This one earned a 4 start. Now, it's possible that the item that I received with 1 slight defect and 1 moderate defect was the outcome of its delivery to my door. However, after inspecting the weld joints at the base of this hopper, I see that these weld needs to be reinforced with a ring to prevent separation during transport and/or abuse from the delivery person. Otherwise, I took this product out for first use yesterday and performed well. Another area of improved could be that the wheels need to be set to prevent wheel side-to-side travel and preventing the legs from locking into place when bringing it upright on the detachable leg stands.
