Q: How do these compare to Dbrand?

Both are made with automotive vinyl. TouchProtect are made locally in the USA by an independent hardware modder, where as Dbrand is from Canada. Both are computer cut and the Fitment is comparable between the two brands. (I measure and tweak down to 1/100th of a mm when developing these)

Q: Can these be reused? I installed them on a steam deck that I’m returning about a week ago. My new one is coming in this week, don’t want to rebuy.

Hey! You absolutely can. Be really careful peeling at the edge to get it started, work your way slowly to not stretch the material as you peel away. If you have trouble getting it started a light amount of heat (hair dryer) can help. To store them you can use packaging tape (shiny, non sticky side) wax paper, heck even your fridge would work. Q: Does this affect the sensitivity of the touchpad?

Nope! They are less than a millimeter thin so they don't provide any sort of loss of sensitivity. Every design released has undergone a lot of testing both from me the creator (an avid gamer), as well as various selected people in the community prior to releasing. TouchProtect first came out during the original PS4 era, and have been put through their paces over the years as new consoles are released. Thanks for the question, appreciate it!

Q: Will this leave glue on the trackpad if you remove it?

It does not leave glue on trackpads.
