yes, i use this for my brake pins and the back side for the brake pads on my motorcycle and my two cars. it works good dude! you can also use this for other things like very soft metal touching metal where it makes squeak sounds and it gets rid of it

It might be used when it would be dried, and the color of the grease would be black. So it might be every 5 years or every 70,000 miles.
