Scholastic Success with Fractions & Decimals Grade 5 Workbook

My son’s school switched to a new math program this year. I was finding it incredibly difficult to help him with his homework, so I ordered this book to give us more practice problems to work with. Not only did it give us more practice problems, but it also easily explains how to solve them. Math was not my strong subject, but with this book, I actually feel like I’m learning and am able to help my son. We just ordered the 6th grade book to try and get ahead for next year.

I needed this book to refresh for Hesi test. It really helped me a lot.

This workbook is good for extra practice or even for home school! The book has over 40 pages of material that cover a variety of skills such as: addition and subtraction with fractions, multiplying and dividing fractions, reducing fractions, improper fractions, converting fractions to decimals, rounding decimals, and much more!The practice pages are easy to follow, fun, and motivating! Much like the website Beestar; an educational program that is often full of colorful and interesting content. Which happens to be quite similar to this particular math workbook! My son was struggling with math until his teacher recommended entertaining learning tools; such as quality math workbooks and an entertaining online program called Beestar. The combined resources have extremely helped my child’s grades! I strongly recommend parents check it out and pick up a few workbooks like this one! I plan to continue to use more workbooks from this author in the future!
